- Served seven years in the United States Army as an active-duty Officer. Began as an Airborne Infantry Officer as a Second Lieutenant before becoming a First Lieutenant. After four years, promoted to Captain and served as a Signal Corps Officer.

AS A SENIOR (2015)
- Was 16-of-21 on field goals and a perfect 42-of-42 on PAT attempts
- Averaged 61.1 yards and recorded 32 touchbacks on 74 kickoffs
- Broke school’s single-season record with 16 field goals made
- 90 points scored was 2nd-highest single-season total in program history and 42 PATs made were 4th in school history
- Ranked 2nd in SoCon in PATs made and 3rd in SoCon with average of 1.23 field goals per game and 6.9 points scored per game
- Broke single-game school records with five made field goals and 17 kicking points scored in 35-14 win vs. VMI
- Five made field goals tied for FCS single-game high
- Was 2-of-3 on field goals, including career-long 49 yarder and game-winning 43 yarder in 41-38 win at Coastal Carolina in first round of NCAA FCS Playoffs

- Averaged 39.3 yards on three kickoffs at defending national champion Florida State

- Handled the punting duties in all 12 games and the kickoff duties in 11 of the 12
- Booted the ball 43 times for 1,733 yards, averaging 40.3 per punt, with one touchback and five punts over 50 yards and 13 inside the 20
- Also kicked off the ball 54 times for 3,094 yards, averaging 57.3 per kick, with 10 touchbacks
- Booted a career-long 61 yarder against Wofford
- Also used as a weapon on fake punts, converting two first downs on fake punt rushes, including a 27-yard scamper against Samford.
AS A FRESHMAN (2012)
- Worked with the Bulldogs’ scout team while redshirting.
PREP & PERSONAL
- A 2012 graduate of Oakton High School
- Lettered four times in football, three times in lacrosse and twice in basketball
- Made seven field goals, including a long of 46 yards and six of at least 37 yards, and was 31 of 32 in extra point attempts his senior season
- Added 16 touchbacks on kickoffs and averaged 44 yards per punt
- Twice named to the all-district team
- Served as captain of lacrosse and basketball teams
- Recipient of GamedayMagazine.com Scholar-Athlete of the Week Award and also received county Champion of Character Award
- Son of Ray and Sally Goins; Father was an offensive lineman at The Citadel, mother was a swimmer at the College of Charleston and is a member of the school’s Hall of Fame
