AS A SENIOR (2022)

  • Finished second on the team with 58 total tackles, recording 28 solo. Played in all 13 games, making six starts. Was a key contributor on one of the top special teams units in the country, playing on punt, punt block and kickoff units. Added 5.5 TFLs during the year to go with 2.5 sacks. Added two quarterback hurries, a forced fumble and a blocked kick during the campaign.
  • OHIO STATE (9/3): Finished with six tackles
  • MARSHALL (9/10): Finished with a career-best nine tackles. 1.5 tackles for loss. First career sack came with seven minutes remaining in the second quarter for a loss of three yards.
  • CALIFORNIA (9/17): Recorded a pair of tackles
  • NORTH CAROLINA (9/24): Started at linebacker. Set a new career high with nine tackles, three solo, six assisted. 0.5 tackle for loss
  • BYU (10/8): Finished with four assisted tackles. Added a half tackle for loss, a sack at the line of scrimmage.
  • STANFORD (10/15): Added five tackles, three solo.
  • SYRACUSE (10/29): Finished with a solo tackle, a six-yard tackle for loss.
  • CLEMSON (11/5): Finished with a pair of solo tackles
  • BOSTON COLLEGE (11/19): Forced his first fumble of the season, third of his career in the win. Added four tackles, three solo. Finished with a strip sack, for a loss of five.
  • USC (11/26): Finished with three tackles, two solo.
  • South Carolina – TaxSlayer Gator Bowl (12/30): Recorded six total tackles, three solo in the victory. Added a tackle for loss and a quarterback hurry.

AS A JUNIOR (2021)

  • Played in all 13 games for the Irish in 2021-22, including eight starts; Placed seventh on the defense with 45 total tackles, 26 of which were unassisted; One of just two Irish players with multiple interceptions on the season; Became first Irish player with two defensive scores in the same season since Julian Love in 2017; Forced two fumbles, created five pass breakups and 2 QB hurries, and added one tackle for loss
  • PURDUE (9/18): Created five tackles, two solo, in a 27-13 win over the Boilermakers
  • WISCONSIN (9/25): Returned an interception 66-yards for a touchdown in the win over the Badgers for his second-career interception and first career touchdown; Recorded six solo tackles in the 41-13 win
  • SOUTHERN CAL (10/23): Matched a season-high total with six tackles, five solo, in a 31-16 victory over the Trojans
  • VIRGINIA (11/13): Earned four tackles, two solo, to go with two pass breakups and a forced fumble in the third quarter of a 28-3 win over the Cavaliers
  • GEORGIA TECH (11/20): Scored his second touchdown of the season on a 43-yard interception return
  • STANFORD (11/27): Made five stops, two solo, including a three-yard tackle for loss enroute to a 45-14 win over the Cardinal

AS A SOPHOMORE (2020)

  • Played in 10 games on defense and special teams this season for the Irish, including his first career start against South Florida; Finished T-11th on the team with 20 total tackles, 16 solo, three TFLs and one interception
  • SOUTH FLORIDA (9/19): Led the team in tackles with eight (seven solo) in his first game action on defense and in his first-career start, also adding 2.0 TFL and one QBH to earn the game ball in the 52-0 win
  • LOUISVILLE (10/17): Posted one tackle in the 12-7 win
  • PITT (10/24): Marked one solo tackle in the 45-3 win
  • BOSTON COLLEGE (11/14): Snagged his first-career interception, adding three tackles and 1.0 TFL, in the 45-31 win
  • SYRACUSE (12/5): Notched two tackles in the 41-25 regular season finale win over the Orange
  • Saw action against Duke (9/12), Clemson (11/7), North Carolina (11/27), and in the ACC Championship game (12/19).
  • ALABAMA – Rose Bowl (1/1): Noted one fumble recovery on special teams, keeping control for Notre Dame, in the CFP Semifinal at the Rose Bowl Game
