  • Recorded two, three game point streaks Nov. 10-17 and Jan 6-13, boasting five goals and five assists.
  • Posted two goals, a power-play goal in the first period and a three on three goal in overtime, securing the 4-3 win over Mercyhurst (Oct. 26). 
  • Racked up a two game, two goal a game streak Oct. 26-27. 
  • Recorded an empty net goal in the 4-2 victory on the road at Minnesota (Nov. 17).

AS A SOPHOMORE (2021-22)

  • Tallied a goal in Notre Dame’s season-opening 5-2 win against Long Island (Oct. 9). 
  • Recorded a goal in 5-2 road win over Northern Michigan (Oct. 16).
  • Notched a goal in the 6-0 win over RIT (Oct. 22).
  • Tallied first multipoint game of the season with a goal and an assist in 5-1 victory over Wisconsin (Nov. 12). 
  • Finished the weekend series against the Badgers with three points after adding an assist in the game two win (Nov. 12-13).
  • Scored a goal en route to a 5-1 home victory over Ohio State (Dec. 4). 
  • Notched the game-winning goal in the road victory over Penn State (Jan. 7).
  • Assisted on Cam Burke’s game-tying goal in the eventual 5-4 OT win at Penn State (Jan. 8).
  • Notched a goal and two assists, including one assist on the overtime game winner at Ohio State (Jan. 14), to extend point streak to three games (2-3-5).
  • Added two assists in Notre Dame’s 8-2 victory over Boston College (Jan. 19). 
  • Tallied an assist and the overtime  game winner in 3-2 overtime victory over Minnesota (Jan. 29).
  • Recorded a goal and an assist in the 7-2 win over Penn State for his third multipoint game in a four-game span (Jan. 14-Feb. 4; 2-5-7).
  • Scored the game winner on the road at Michigan State to secure the 2-1 win (Feb. 18).
  • Added an assist in game 2 and scored in game 3 of the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals win over Wisconsin (Mar. 5-6).
  • Had the game-tying goal against North Dakota in the first round of the NCAA Tournament and also assisted on Graham Slaggert’s overtime game winner as the Irish downed the Fighting Hawks 2-1 (March 24).

AS A FRESHMAN (2020-21)

  • Played 25 games and was Notre Dame’s third-leading scorer with 22 points on eight goals and 14 assists.
  • His eight goals tied for second on the team, while his 14 assists ranked third.
  • Finished the season with seven multipoint games, each coming in the second semester.
  • Registered his first career point with an assist on Nate Clurman’s goal in Notre Dame’s 3-2 win at third-ranked Michigan (Nov. 27).
  • Scored his first career goal in Notre Dame’s 5-4 win over Arizona State (Dec. 4).
  • Earned a gold medal with Team USA at the 2021 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship (Jan. 6), becoming the seventh Fighting Irish player to medal at the prestigious event. 
  • While playing with Team USA, missed first semester series versus Ohio State and Michigan State (Dec. 12-20).
  • Notched his first career multipoint game with a pair of goals in a 5-4 win over Arizona State to open the second semester (Jan. 9).
  • Had a goal and an assist in the 3-2 win at top-ranked Minnesota (Jan. 15).
  • Had a goal and an assist in game one at Ohio State and followed with a pair of assists in game two as the Irish skated to a weekend sweep of the Buckeyes (Feb. 5-6).
  • Had back-to-back two assist games at Wisconsin (Feb. 19-20). 
  • Posted a goal and an assist to led Notre Dame to a 2-0 win at Michigan State (Feb. 26).
  • Closed the season on a seven-game point streak (3-7-10).

IN THE NHL DRAFT

  • Selected in the third round, 79th overall, by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2020 NHL Draft.

WITH USA HOCKEY

  • Slaggert played for the USNTDP for the past two seasons.
  • For the 2019-20 season playing with the U18’s, he skated in all 47 games and scored 13 goals and added 11 assists for 24 points.
  • In 19 USHL games, he totaled 10 points on six goals and four assists.
  • Also played in the 2020 Biosteel All-American Game where he recorded an assist.
  • Helped Team USA win the Five Nations Tournament in Sundsvall, Sweden (November 2019).
  • In 2018-19, he skated in 48 games with the U17 team, scoring 10 goals and adding 14 assists for 24 points.
  • Also in 2018-19, he skated for Team USA in the U17 Four Nations Tournament (second) and the World U17 Hockey Challenge.

PREP AND PERSONAL

  • Before joining the NTDP, Slaggert helped guide the Chicago Mission to the High Performance Major Bantam crown in 2017.
  • The South Bend, Indiana, native is the brother of former Notre Dame forward Graham Slaggert and current Irish forward Carter Slaggert, and son of Irish associate head coach Andy Slaggert.
