AS A SENIOR (2014): Played in all 18 games, including 12 starts … one assist … 16 ground balls … started the first 11 games of the season … caused three turnovers … tallied his first career point when he assisted on Notre Dame’s third goal in the 13-7 win at Ohio State … tied a career high with three ground balls in the regular-season showdown against Maryland … collected two ground balls versus North Carolina, Ohio State and Marquette … earned his second monogram.
AS A JUNIOR (2013): Started all 16 games in Notre Dame’s close defense and helped the team rank 10th nationally in goals-against average (8.31) … that figure ranked first among all BIG EAST teams … the Fighting Irish also ranked 10th nationally – and first in the BIG EAST – in man-down defense (.737) … picked up 25 ground balls … the Irish defense held No. 4 Duke to just five goals in a 13-5 season-opening victory … the Notre Dame defense limited No. 8 Ohio State to just four goals in a 9-4 Fighting Irish win … scooped up a career-high three ground balls on four occasions (Denver, Villanova, Syracuse, Detroit) … earned his first monogram.
