• Played in the win over Michigan (2/26) as an attackman in his third season with the Irish

AS A SOPHOMORE (2016)

• Played in the 14-5 win over Detroit (2/27).

AS A FRESHMAN (2015)

• Played in two games during his first season with the Irish
• Picked up a ground ball in victory against Albany (14-10)

PREP AND PERSONAL:

• Rated 64th in the Inside Lacrosse Power 100 Freshmen
• Earned three varsity letters in lacrosse, two in soccer and one in football
• Led lacrosse team in points during his senior campaign
• Received All-Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) and All-Metro accolades as a senior
• Won the team’s Campbell Award and was a finalist for the C. Markland Kelly Award
• Son of Robert Helfferich and Erin Ruhl Helfferich
• Uncle, Billy Ruhl, and aunt, Caroline Ruhl, played lacrosse at Maryland
• Joins fellow Gilman School alums Conor and Jack Doyle on the Fighting Irish roster
• Played for the Baltimore Lacrosse Club
• Has a younger brother, Charlie
• Enrolled in the College of Arts and Letters as a political science major
