• Appeared in all but one game for the Irish in 2018.
• Picked up two ground balls on the season.

AS A JUNIOR (2017)

• Played in the win over Michigan (2/26)
• Took over the role of leading the team onto the field playing the bagpipes to keep the Notre Dame men’s lacrosse tradition alive

AS A SOPHOMORE (2016)

• Played in four games for the Notre Dame defense, accruing three ground balls and four caused turnovers
• Forced a season-high two turnovers in the win over Detroit (2/27)

AS A FRESHMAN (2015)

• Played in five games during his first season with the Irish
• Made his debut against Michigan with one ground ball

PREP AND PERSONAL:

• Earned varsity letters and was a three-year starter for the lacrosse and football teams at Phillips Academy
• During his senior season, Andover went 9-0 and won the New England Prep School football championship
• Denver Shootout All-Star and CT Super Sophs All-Star
• Played club for 3D New England for three summers culminating in winning the Lake Placid U-19 Championship in 2014
• Began playing lacrosse in 8th grade
• Son of Andrew and Stefanie Young
• Father was on the crew team at Princeton
• Mother played tennis at Harvard
• Has an older sister, Edith who studies photography at the Rhode Island School of Design
• Phillips Academy teammate of fellow Irish freshman Austin Gaiss
• Enrolled in the Mendoza College of Business as a finance major
