AS A GRADUATE STUDENT (2023)
- Helped lead Notre Dame to its first national title in program history
- Played in all 16 games as a LSM in his final season of collegiate lacrosse
- Played a huge role in Notre Dame’s sixth-ranked scoring defense (9.69) in the country and best in the ACC despite playing nine of its 16 games against top 10 scoring offenses in the country
- Finished the season with a goal, 36 ground balls and eight caused turnovers
- Scored a goal against Virginia at Arlotta and had a season-high seven ground balls
- Scooped up five ground balls and caused a turnover in the NCAA semifinal win over Virginia
AS A SENIOR (2022)
- Played in 11 games as Notre Dame’s primary LSM during his senior year
- Caused six turnovers and scooped up 18 ground balls
- Scored the first goal of his career at Ohio State
- Collected a season-high four ground balls and caused a turnover in the win at Duke
AS A JUNIOR (2021)
- Played in 11 games as Notre Dame’s top LSM in his junior season.
- Ranked second on the team in caused turnovers with 10.
- Collected 23 ground balls on the season, the fourth most of any non-FOGO on the team.
- Recorded the first point of his career from an assist in the win over Bellarmine (3/6).
- Had a career day in the victory against Marquette (3/17), recording five ground balls and four caused turnovers.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2020 – Season Cancelled After Five Games Due to COVID-19)
- Played in all five games at the LSM position.
- Scooped up three ground balls and caused two turnovers.
AS A FRESHMAN (2019)
- Played in all 16 games in his rookie season with the Irish at the LSM position
- Recorded 19 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers.
- Made his collegiate debut in the win over Detroit Mercy (2/16).
- Posted a season-high two caused turnovers in the victory over Syracuse (3/30).
- Scooped up a season-high three ground balls against Ohio State (3/23).
PREP & PERSONAL
- Two-time high school All-American in 2016 and 2017.
- Played on the Under Armour All-America North Senior Team.
- Named to the New England Under Armour All-America Team.
- Led Yorktown to a state championship in 2014.
- Earned the Rhodes Cup at Deerfield Academy.
- Three-sport athlete, lettering in lacrosse, football and track & field.
- Holds Yorktown High School record for career touchdown passes, and career passing yards.
- Named Yorktown High School Male Student Athlete of the Year.
- Four-time team MVP at Yorktown in track & field.
- Team captain of both the lacrosse and football teams.
- Member of the National Honor Society and achieved Principal’s List status all four years at Yorktown.
- Volunteered as a mentor and tutor throughout high school and was a member of the Special Olympics.
- Son of Joseph and Marianne Boyer. His father, Joseph, played running back at Fordham and his mother, Marianne, was a team captain on the swim team at Holy Cross.
