AS A SENIOR (2024)

• Helped lead the Fighting Irish to their second national title with a final record of 16-1 on the season
• Appeared in all 17 games as an LSM during his final season in South Bend
• Totaled 18 ground balls and eight caused turnovers on the year
• Scooped up a season-high three ground balls in the win over No. 18 Michigan
• Caused two turnovers and registered two ground balls in the NCAA Championship first round win over UAlbany

AS A JUNIOR (2023)

• Helped lead Notre Dame to its first national title in program history
• Played in all 16 games as a defenseman/LSM during his junior season
• Finished the season with two goals, 16 ground balls and four caused turnovers
• Scored the first goal of his career in the win at UNC
• Found the back of the net in the NCAA first round victory over Utah

AS A SOPHOMORE (2022)

• Saw action in all 12 games as an LSM during his second year in South Bend
• Key member of a Notre Dame defensive unit that ranked 10th in the country in goals allowed per game (10.08)
• Totaled 11 ground balls and six caused turnovers
• Recorded four games with multiple ground balls
• Turned in a big performance in the win over Syracuse in the Carrier Dome, causing two turnovers and scooping up two ground balls

AS A FRESHMAN (2021)

• Played in all 12 games as an LSM in his rookie season at Notre Dame
• Finished the year with 18 ground balls and three caused turnovers
• Made his Irish debut in the season-opening win over Robert Morris (2/27)
• Recorded a season-high of three GBs on three occasions, coming against Marquette (3/17), Virginia (3/27) and Syracuse (5/1)

PREP & PERSONAL

• Inside Lacrosse four-star defenseman in the class of 2020
• Three-time Under Armour All-American
• Three-time First Team All-League Syracuse/CNYCL selection
• Two-time captain for both men’s lacrosse and ice hockey teams at Auburn High School
• Finished career with 276 ground balls, nine goals and five assists in just three seasons of play due to COVID-19
• Played club lacrosse for the No. 2 ranked nationally Sweetlax National Team
• Totaled 15 varsity letters in the sports of lacrosse, hockey and golf
• Five-time qualifier for the New York State High School State Tournament Qualifier
• Led hockey team to the New York State Final Four
• Volunteered with local projects BOCES Paper Shred Project and Casey Park Bike Repair
• Served as treasurer for Varsity Club and Future Business Leaders of America and was a member of Vinciguerra Leadership Group
• Son of Beth and Dan Burgmaster and has two brothers, Jack and Alex, and one sister, Danielle.
• Brothers Jack and Alex played lacrosse at Albany.
