• 2023 & 2024 NCAA National Champion (first two in program history)

AS A SOPHOMORE (2024)

• Helped lead the Fighting Irish to their second national title with a final record of 16-1 on the season
• Appeared in 15 games and was a key member of the second midfield unit
• Finished the season with 19 points off 11 goals and eight assists
• Tied his season high for points in a game in the national title win over Maryland with three off a goal and two assists
• Scored a season-high two goals and added an assist in the season-opening win over Cleveland State
• Recorded a goal and two assists in the regular-season finale victory over Virginia in Charlottesville

AS A FRESHMAN (2023)

• Member of 2023 NCAA national championship team, the first in program history
• Played in seven games during his rookie year at Notre Dame at the midfield position
• Made his Fighting Irish debut in the season-opening win over Marquette

• Inside Lacrosse four-star midfielder for class of 2022
• No. 42 ranked player overall in the class of 2022 by Inside Lacrosse
• NLF No. 13 ranked player in the country and No. 2 midfielder in the class of 2022
• Named an Under Armour All-American (Philadelphia)
• Selected to the South Under Armour All-America Senior Team
• Two-time team captain and team MVP at Garnet Valley High School
• Set the school points record at Garnet Valley High School
• Also was the quarterback of the football team, leading the team to the state semi-finals
• Played club lacrosse with Philadelphia Big 4 HHH
• Named the Delco Sports Hall of Fame Male Scholar Athlete of the Year
• Son of Kristen and Michael Busenkell
• Has two sisters, Sophie and Emma
• His grandfather, Michael Colston, played football and ran track at the Naval Academy
