HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL DATA:
• Starting goalkeeper for the Sporting Kansas City Academy (US Soccer Development Academy) from 2012-15.
• After his freshman year at Norman North High School in Norman, Oklahoma, he transferred to Blue Valley North High School in Overland Park, Kansas.
• Did not play high school soccer following his freshman season due to US Soccer Development Academy rules.
• Began playing for the Sporting KC U16 Academy team during his sophomore year.
• Sporting KC U16 team captain as a junior and also played for the U18 squad that year.
• Member of the Sporting KC U18 Academy as a senior.
• Trained with Sporting KC during his junior and senior years.
• Was the starting goalkeeper for Norman Youth Soccer Association (NYSA) Celtic ’97 Green from 2008-2012.
• As a freshman at Norman North High School, his team finished the 2012 season as the ESPN Fab 50 national champions (spring) and were the Oklahoma 6A state champions.
• Member of the Model United Nations at Blue Valley North High School in addition to being a fundraiser coordinator and on the assembly planning committee.
• Attended high school in the hometown of former Notre Dame men’s soccer All-Americans Matt and Nick Besler.
• Son of Glen and Julie Krutz.
• Has an older brother, Matt, and a younger sister, Rachel.
• Brother played golf at the University of New Mexico.
• Born in Bryan, Texas.
• Enrolled in the College of Arts and Letters as a political science major.
