AS A GRAD STUDENT (2022)
- Started 14 matches as a right back in his final season in South Bend
- Missed the first three matches of the season due to an injury
- Scored a goal off a volley from outside the box in the win over Chicago State
- Helped the Irish record three clean sheets on the season
AS A SENIOR (2021):
- Earned 22 starts while playing in all 24 matches at the right back position during his senior season
- Helped spark Notre Dame’s postseason run, as the team allowed just two goals over eight postseason matches
- Played a key role in Notre Dame’s run to win the ACC title, as the defense didn’t allow a single goal over four matches
- Giacobello and the Irish recorded six straight clean sheets over four ACC Championship matches and two NCAA Tournament contests
- Integral in the squad’s 13 clean sheets over the season
- Helped the Irish not allow a goal off a corner all season
- Tied his career high for points in a season with five off a goal and three assists
- Scored a highlight-worthy goal in the 3-0 win over Villanova in the second round of the NCAA Tournament

AS A JUNIOR (2020):
- Appeared in 12 games while starting nine times as a midfielder or forward during his junior campaign.
- Had a career night in the win over Louisville (11/6/20), totaling four points off a goal and two assists.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2019):
- Played in all 19 matches, earning one start as a forward in the 2019 season.
- Finished the year with two goals and an assist to total five points.
- Made his Notre Dame debut in the win over Saint Louis.
- Earned the first start of his Irish career in the victory at Michigan State.
- Scored his first career goal at No. 4 Indiana in a 1-1 draw.
- Tallied a career-high three points off a goal and an assist in the win over Purdue Fort Wayne.
AS A FRESHMAN (2018):
- Did not appear in a match.
PREP AND PERSONAL
- Letterwinner at San Clemente High School during sophomore season.
- Was a varsity starter in only high school campaign, and was named first-team all-league after finishing second on the team in goals and assists.
- Named to the OC Register Player to Watch list as part of a league championship finish.
- Has competed with Strikers FC Academy of the USSDA at the U14, U16 and U18 level.
