AS A SENIOR (2023):
- Appeared in all 22 matches, making 20 starts, as a left back during his final season at Notre Dame
- Totaled seven points on the season off three goals and an assist
- Played a key role as the starting left back in the Notre Dame backline, which allowed 15 goals on the season, the second fewest for a season in program history
- The Irish defense allowed just .668 goals per game, leading the ACC and ranking fifth in the country
- Notre Dame’s 12 clean sheets gave the Irish a shutout percentage of .545, leading the ACC and ranking sixth in the country
- Helped the Irish defense allow one or no goals in 19 of 22 matches over the course of the season
- Scored a header off a free kick in the season-opening 1-1 draw against No. 2 Indiana
- Converted a penalty in the NCAA College Cup Final against Clemson
- Converted his penalty attempts in shootouts in the NCAA Tournament to help the Irish advance past Western Michigan (Round of 16) and Indiana (Quarterfinals)
AS A JUNIOR (2022):

- Posted the first brace of his career with two goals in the win over Chicago State
- Scored in wins over Michigan State, Kalamazoo and Virginia Tech
- Helped the Irish record three clean sheets on the season
AS A SOPHOMORE (2021):
- Started all 24 matches at left back for the Irish in his sophomore season
- Helped spark Notre Dame’s postseason run, as the team allowed just two goals over eight postseason matches
- Played a key role in Notre Dame’s run to win the ACC title, as the defense didn’t allow a single goal over four matches
- Burns and the Irish recorded six straight clean sheets over four ACC Championship matches and two NCAA Tournament contests
- Integral in the squad’s 13 clean sheets over the season
- Helped the Irish not allow a goal off a corner all season
- Finished the season with a career-high 11 points off three goals and five assists
- Tied for the team lead in assists with five
- Scored his first career goal against Michigan State

- Earned the first start of his collegiate career in the 1-0 win over Syracuse (10/9/20).
- Recorded his first point, as assist, off a corner in the victory over Syracuse.
