AS A SENIOR (2022)

• Played in all 17 matches as a midfielder, earning 15 starts in his senior season at Notre Dame
• Helped the Irish record three clean sheets on the year

AS A JUNIOR (2021):

• Played in 24 matches, including three starts, as a holding midfielder for the Irish during his junior season
• Finished with four points off a goal and two assists
• Scored the opening goal in the win over UIC and picked up assists in wins over Purdue Fort Wayne and Trine
• Helped spark Notre Dame’s postseason run, as the team allowed just two goals over eight postseason matches
• Played a key role in Notre Dame’s run to win the ACC title, as the defense didn’t allow a single goal over four matches
• Mayer and the Irish recorded six straight clean sheets over four ACC Championship matches and two NCAA Tournament contests
• Integral in the squad’s 13 clean sheets over the season
• Helped the Irish not allow a goal off a corner all season

AS A SOPHOMORE (2020):

• Played in 15 matches, while earning three starts for the Irish as a defender.
• Made his Notre Dame debut as a starter in the season-opening 1-0 win over Kentucky.
• Appeared in six of Notre Dame’s clean sheet victories.
• Scored the first goal of his collegiate career against UNC (3/27/21).
• Notched his first career point against Wake Forest (3/20/21), dishing out an assist.

AS A FRESHMAN (2019):

• Did not appear in a match.

• Top Drawer Soccer Top 150 Player.
• 2014 USYSA National Championship Best XI selection.
• Made the Dean’s List all four years of high school.
• Volunteered with District Court Re Entry projects. This organization helps either people being processed for a crime or the condition of their probation to find jobs and get reestablished in the community.
