AS A SOPHOMORE: Came back after a stellar freshman year for a standout sophomore campaign … went 8-8 at No. 2 singles and 5-0 at No. 3 singles … logged a 5-5 record at No. 3 doubles with various partners … named third-team All-ACC and to the 2014 ACC All-Academic Team … notched a notable 6-3, 3-6, 6-1 win over Brett Clark of No. 8 North Carolina … also defeated Blake Davis of No. 28 Florida State, 6-2, 6-0 … his 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 victory over Stefan Lindmark clinched the Irish win over No. 38 Ole Miss in order advance to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Championship … recorded a 4-0 streak in the late spring in a tough ACC schedule … advanced to the quarterfinals of the USTA Collegiate Clay Court Invitational … faced off against teammate Josh Hagar in the finals of the ITA Summer Circuit … earned a monogram.
