AS A JUNIOR:
- Entered the starting lineup in doubles, pairing mostly with Grayson Broadus in the spring
- Went 13-8 overall (13-7 duals) with Broadus and 20-13 with all doubles partners
- Kempin and Broadus went 1-1 against ranked opponents
- Went 12-9 in singles, including 4-1 in dual matches in the spring
- Earned a monogram
AS A SOPHOMORE:
- Went 9-7 in singles and 11-7 in doubles
- Recorded victories against Valparaiso’s Lucas Waak (6-2, 6-7 (2-7), 6-3), Michigan State’s Alex Kim (6-3, 3-6, 6-3), and Cleveland State’s pairing of William Malm/Mirko Radosevic with partner Grayson Broadus (8-6) at the ITA Midwest Regional Championships in October
- Defeated Detroit’s Kacper Stelmaszak (4-6, 7-6 (7-4), 10-2), and Patryk Koscielski/Nathan Ponton with Grayson Broadus (6-4), as well as Michigan State’s Colin Harvey/Alexander Kim with Eric Schnurrenberger (6-2) during a doubleheader January 16
- Joined Eddy Covalschi in a 7-5 victory over Boston College’s Kyle Childree/Hank Workman on March 3
AS A FRESHMAN:
- Went 6-9 in singles matches over the course of the year
- Finished with a 2-0 record at the No. 5 singles spot during the spring
- Amassed a 4-5 doubles record
- Earned a monogram
