AS A SENIOR:

• Started at No. 1 doubles and No. 2 singles for the majority of the season
• Ranked inside the top 30 in doubles for the majority of the year
• Went 21-11 overall and 10-8 in dual doubles matches with Hagar; record includes an 8-7 mark against ranked opponents
• With Hagar, defeated No. 1 Skander Mansouri and Christian Seraphim of No. 1 Wake Forest 7-5 on April 23, 2017
• With Hagar, won the consolation doubles bracket at the USTA/ITA Indoor Intercollegiate Championship in November 2016
• Reached the doubles semifinal of the ITA Midwest Regional Championship in October 2016
• Reached the doubles quarterfinal at the ITA All-American Championships in October 2016
• Earned a monogram

AS A JUNIOR:

• Finished the season with a singles record of 19-20 and doubles record of 18-15  ranked as high as No. 39 in doubles with partner Josh Hagar
• Defeated TCU’s Gianni Mancini at the ITA All-American Championships in October (6-1, 6-0)  
• Recorded victories against Valparaiso’s Charlie Emhardt (5-7, 7-6 (7-4), 7-6 (8-6)), Wisconsin’s Josef Dodridge (6-4, 5-7, 7-6 (7-5)), and Illinois’ Julian Childers (6-3, 6-4) before losing in the quarterfinals at the ITA Midwest Regional Championships
• Also recorded a victory against DePaul’s Tim Corwin/Ivan Dikovic with doubles partner Kenneth Sabacinski (8-4) in the doubles round of 64
• During the dual season defeated Jared Hiltzik/Alex Jesse of No. 12 Illinois with partner Alex Lawson (6-1), No. 77 Alex Favrot/Luke Johnson of Clemson with partner Alex Lawson (6-3), No. 7 Joao Monteiro/Andreas Bjerrehus of Virginia Tech with Josh Hagar (6-4), No. 17 Jack Murray/Brayden Schnur of No. 1 North Carolina with Josh Hagar
• Recorded victories against Vincent Lin of Duke (7-6 (7-5), 6-3) and Jon Ho of No. 7 Wake Forest (6-3, 7-6 (7-4) in the ACC Tournament
• Earned a monogram

AS A SOPHOMORE:

• Went 20-15 in doubles, including 11-4 in tournament play and 3-2 against nationally ranked opponents while competing primarily with Josh Hagar
• Finished the year with a 6-9 record at No. 2 doubles
• Held a nine-match doubles win streak in the fall, seven of which came with Hagar
• Claimed the ITA Midwest Regional Doubles Championship after winning six matches in four days
• Defeated 27th-ranked teammates Billy Pecor and Alex Lawson in the ITA Midwest Regional semifinal, 4-6, 7-5, 10-6
• Won their opening match at the ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships over Mississippi State’s Florian Lakat and Julian Cash, 7-5, 6-3
• Fell to USC’s Yannick Hanfmann and Roberto Quiroz in the quarterfinals, 6-3, 6-3 defeated No. 3 Illinois’ 14th-ranked duo of Ross Guignon and Tim Kopinski in a tiebreaker, 7-6(4) in dual play on Feb. 28
• Amassed an overall singles record of 12-2
• Defeated No. 84 Nathan Rakitt of Georgia Tech, 6-4, 6-2  
• Earned a monogram.

AS A FRESHMAN:

• Made an immediate impact in the lineup as a newcomer
• Competed in the No. 3 through No. 6 singles spots in dual matches throughout the season, going 7-7 at No. 5
• His victory over Ryuji Hirooka in a three sets (6-3, 5-6, 6-4) was the deciding match that led the Irish to upset No. 8 Kentucky
• Defeating Hirooka earned him ACC Player of the Week
• The following week, he defeated No. 97 Kevin Lai to take down Kentucky again
• Won five consecutive singles matches in the second half of a tough ACC spring schedule
• Also won five straight singles matches in the fall
• Earned a monogram

PREP & PERSONAL:

• Graduated magna cum laude from Dwight D. Eisenhower High School in the spring of 2013
• A five-star recruit and was ranked as high as 15th in class
• Only played high school tennis his senior year, in which he and his team won the 2012 Michigan high school state championship
• Was also the 2012 state singles champion
• Had an undefeated record of 23-0
• Was Michigan All-State and named the Michigan Player of the Year
• Awarded the 2013 Harold M. Stratton Leadership award, Ike’s Brightest, Academic All-State, the Presidential Award and Academic Athlete of the Year award
• A member of the junior national honor society and the DECA business club
• Born in Clinton Township, Mich.
