Posted a .500 batting average, the second-highest on the team, through the first five games of the season at the NFCA Leadoff Classic (Feb. 7-9)…Played in four games, starting three at SS, slapping four hits and scoring one run, while posting three RBI. Marquez was walked once. At SS, Marquez totaled six putouts and three assists with a 1.000 fielding percentage.
