AS A SENIOR (2011): Named to the all-BIG EAST second team for the third time in four seasons at Notre Dame … set career-highs with a .316 batting average, 42 hits, 10 doubles, 29 RBI, a .556 slugging percentage, a .422 on-base percentage, 12 stolen bases and 35 runs scored in 56 starts in left field … tied for 13th on the all-time Irish career home run list (20) and 20th in slugging percentage (.479) … opened season with a double and an RBI against Central Florida (Feb. 18) … enjoyed a four-game hitting streak from Miami (Ohio) Feb. 20 until Marist Feb. 27 … contributed a double, an RBI and a stolen base in a 2-1 win over No. 9 Oklahoma (March 16) … 2-for-3 at the dish against New Mexico (March 18) … scored three runs during BIG EAST series against Providence (April 2-3) … slashed a one-out RBI triple down the right field line and scored two runs in game one of a doubleheader against Butler (April 7) … logged a 2-for-3 day with two doubles and two RBI in the nightcap of a BIG EAST twin bill at Syracuse (April 10) … connected on first home run of the season against Bowling Green (April 12), driving in a pair of runs and scoring two more … erupted in a three-game set against St. John[apos]s (April 30-May 1), going a perfect 5-for-5 with two doubles, three home runs, seven RBI and four runs scored … finished week with a .600 batting average (6-for-10) with three doubles, three long balls, nine RBI and eight runs to earn BIG EAST Player of the Week honors (May 2) … drove in three runs during the final conference series of the season at Connecticut (May 7-8) … chipped in a base hit and two RBI in an NCAA Ann Arbor Regional elimination game against No. 2 Michigan (May 21).
AS A JUNIOR (2010): Turned on the green light when it mattered most for the Irish … second team all-BIG EAST … entering the BIG EAST Championship, batted .194 with a .306 slugging clip in non-conference affairs but posted a .356 batting average and an eye-popping .889 slugging pct. versus league foes … five of her seven home runs came in league play … did not commit a single error in the outfield while recording 52 putouts … started 41 of 48 games played … scored 25 times with 25 hits and 25 RBI … recorded an RBI against Creighton (Feb. 12) … had three putouts versus Oregon State (Feb. 13) … tallied a hit against George Washington (Feb. 26), and scored one run with a stolen base against the Colonials one day later … started the BIG EAST portion of the schedule with two RBI on one hit and scored one run at Seton Hall (March 27) … followed that with an RBI-double in game three with the Pirates, going on to score twice in that contest … broke out for four RBI, three hits and three runs across a pair of games with Rutgers (April 1-3) … after beginning the season 1-for-22, posted five hits and seven RBI in 11 at bats from March 27-April 3, including two doubles and a home run … recorded at least one run, hit and RBI in four straight games from April 3-10 … had home runs in back-to-back games (April 3-10) and a double in two straight games (April 10-11) … seven RBI in fives games from April 1-11 … tripled against Georgetown (April 14) … homered in back-to-back games against Cleveland State (April 15) and Louisville (April 17) … her home run versus the Cardinals was a two-run shot … hit a solo home run in game two of an April 22 doubleheader at DePaul … doubled in two runs against Bowling Green (April 28) … 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run scored and a stolen base against Wisconsin (April 29) … two of her three hits at St. John[apos]s (May 8-9) were home runs … had five RBI during the three-game series with the Red Storm.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2009): Appeared in 47 games with 43 starts … batted .269 with 29 hits and scored 18 times … three doubles, four triples (ranked 44th nationally) and five home runs … the four triples tied her for third overall among BIG EAST players … 19 RBI with 55 total bases … .509 slugging percentage … successful on each of her five stolen base attempts … fielded at a .974 rate with one error in 38 attempts … named BIG EAST Conference Player of the Week (March 9) … put together one of the most prolific slugging stretches in Notre Dame history at the UNLV Invitational and finished the four-game invite with a 1.889 slugging pct. which came courtesy of three triples and two home runs in nine at-bats … her .556 batting average led Notre Dame throughout the weekend … tripled in three consecutive contests, becoming the first player to accomplish the feat in the 21-year history of the program … also had two home runs and five RBI at the tournament … 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored in the home-opening series against Toledo (March 18) … 2-for-2 with two runs scored and two RBI with a home run against Western Michigan (March 25) … also had two hits against Georgetown (March 28), Seton Hall (April 5) and Connecticut (April 11) during BIG EAST play … season-high three RBI recorded against Seton Hall … fifth home run of the season came at Connecticut, as she was one of four Irish players to homer in the contest … laid down sacrifices against Syracuse (April 26) and Providence (April 30) … filled the stat line against Miami (Ohio) (May 16) in the NCAA Tournament with two hits, two runs, two RBI, one double, one triple, a season-high four putouts and an assist.
AS A FRESHMAN (2008): Came on strong after the season[apos]s midway point and developed into a second-team all-BIG EAST selection … ranked ninth among league players in batting average (.370) and on-base percentage (.453) … had 20 hits and six RBI with two homers in league play … played in each of Notre Dame[apos]s 61 contests … sported a .256 batting average with 33 hits and scored 20 runs … had two doubles and a pair of home runs … drove in 13 scores … stole three bases and tacked on an assist from the outfield … ripped a three-RBI double down the rightfield line in her first collegiate at-bat which came on opening day against Utah (Feb. 15) … also worked the count to draw a walk in that game against the Utes … singled to finish 1-for-3 against Western Kentucky (Feb. 16) … had one hit in two at-bats versus California (Feb. 17) … wore a pitch against North Florida (Feb. 23) to earn a free base … on March 1, had singles against Pacific and UC Davis … also scored against the Aggies … stole a base at UC Riverside (March 4) … pinch-ran against CS Northridge (March 9) and eventually came around to plate a run for the Irish … went 1-for-2 with one RBI and scored once against Charleston Southern (March 15) … singled versus DePaul (March 30) … enjoyed a nine-game hitting streak (April 2-April 13) that was highlighted by a 2-for-2 day at St. John[apos]s (April 5) and her first career home run at Seton Hall (April 6) … was walked twice during a home contest with Villanova (April 13) … scored a career-high three runs in game two at Louisville (April 19) but did not register a single hit … her only hits came from the arms of the Cardinal pitching staff, who beaned her twice … she also drew a walk to put her on base during her first at-bat … had only one multi-hit effort through 49 games heading into an April 26 doubleheader with Providence … proceeded to light the Friars for two hits in three at-bats and then posted three hits including a home run one day later against UConn (April 27) … added another multi-hit day by going 2-for-3 with two RBI at Valparaiso (April 29) … assisted on a putout against Wisconsin (April 16) … recorded at least two hits in three of the nine games from April 26-May 8 … went 1-for-3 in the season finale against Kent Sate (May 17) and scored once.
PREP AND PERSONAL: A stellar athlete that played her high school ball at La Reina (Calif.) … set three school records as a senior with a batting average of .571, 49 RBI and an on-base percentage of .652 … member of the Tri-Valley all-academic team and La Reina team captain during her final prep season … also had a slugging percentage of 1.114 to go along with 30 runs scored, eight home runs and eight doubles … as a junior, she earned first-team all-state and all-Ventura County honors and was the MVP of the Tri-Valley League … team MVP for La Reina in 2007 … first-team all-CIF as a freshman … daughter of Kevin and Debra Jorgensborg … has one older sister, Kristina … graduated from Notre Dame with a dual degree in management consulting and political science.
