AS A SENIOR (2012):NFCA Great Lakes all-region second team selection … all-BIG EAST first team choice … led the Irish with 16 home runs, 114 total bases and a .695 slugging percentage – home run total paced the BIG EAST Conference … moved into second place on the all-time Notre Dame list in career home runs (48), RBI (176) and slugging percentage (.631) … equally impressive during 19 league contests, leading the conference with eight home runs and 23 RBI … second on the Irish in multi-hit games (17) and multi-RBI games (15) … homered in each of the first two games of the season against San Diego State and San Diego (Feb. 17) … contributed a pair of hits and two RBI against UC Santa Barbara (Feb. 18) … ripped third home run of the season and drove in three runs at North Carolina (Feb. 25) … reached base in all five plate appearances, logging five RBI and scoring two runs against the Tar Heels (Feb. 26) … laced a pair of doubles and drove in two runs against Oregon State (March 10) … 3-for-4 with three runs scored in a win at Cal State Fullerton (March 14) … three-run home run provided the Irish the winning 5-2 margin in game one of a doubleheader against Connecticut (March 31) … added a two-run double in the final game of the series to complete the sweep of the Huskies (April 1) … went a perfect 3-for-3 at the dish (with one walk), driving in two and scoring a pair of runs at Purdue (April 5) … hit a home run in four straight games during the middle of the season, spanning from Michigan State (April 24) until the first game of a BIG EAST series at Providence (April 28) … recorded four RBI in back-to-back games at Providence (April 29) and against Eastern Michigan (May 2) … blasted two homers, driving in four runs in game two of a doubleheader against Pittsburgh (May 5) … posted three hits, including a double, with two RBI and a run scored in NCAA Regional play against Hawai’i (May 18).

AS A JUNIOR (2011):Parlayed her third all-region honor into her first All-American accolade in 2011 … with 11 home runs, became the first Irish player ever to smack double-digit home runs in the first three seasons with the program … hit .333 as a junior and drove in 37 runs with a .563 slugging percentage … most impressively, did not commit an error in 210 chances while playing both first and second base for the Irish … only everyday Irish starter without an error … named to the NFCA[apos]s All-American third team at the utility position … after missing out on all-BIG EAST honors in 2011, Miller was part of the NFCA all-region first team for the third straight season in 2011 … she joined the company of Megan Ciolli, Katie Marten and Terri Kobata as Notre Dame players to cop the award at least three times … Ciolli and Kobata went on to accomplish the feat a fourth time … through three seasons with the Irish, Miller stands 15th in career batting average (.332), fourth in home runs (32), 14th in RBI (118) and third in slugging pct. AS A SOPHOMORE (2010):Earned all-BIG EAST and NFCA all-region honors for the second time in as many seasons … started 51 of 54 games played … 48 hits produced 35 RBI and 87 total bases … slugged at a .613 rate with seven doubles and 10 home runs … only Irish player ever to post double-digit home run totals in first two years with the program … 12 multi-hit and nine multiple RBI contest … belted a solo home run in the season opener against Creighton (Feb. 12) … 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI against Virginia (Feb. 26) … two hits and one RBI against Ohio State (March 6) … three-run home run against East Tennessee State (March 6) … drove in two runs with a single against Long Beach State (March 13) … 2-for-3 with three RBI and a home run against Eastern Michigan (March 23) … back-to-back two-hit games at Seton Hall (March 27-28) … one of three players – joining Brianna Jorgensborg and Christine Lux – to hit two-run home runs against Rutgers (April 3) … recorded one of two Notre Dame sacrifice flies in a 2-0 win over USF (April 11) … belted a two-run home run versus Cleveland State (April 15) … 2-for-3 with four RBI and a home run against Valparaiso (April 21) … homered twice during the three-game series with Villanova (April 24-25) and drove him four runs … doubled twice against Wisconsin (April 29) … 2-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored at St. John[apos]s (May 8), including a home run … named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District team.

AS A FRESHMAN (2009):Recorded one of the most outstanding freshman seasons by any player ever to wear an Irish uniform … set program[apos]s home run record for a first-year player (11) … only league freshman named first-team all-BIG EAST, and one of five to earn all-region honors … three times named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll (April 6, April 20, May 4) … three grand slams … set a school record with a 21-game hitting streak, the longest of any league player in 2009 … joined Christine Lux (15) and Linda Kohan (11) to comprise the first trio of Irish teammates ever to hit 10+ home runs in the same season … 13 doubles tied for 17th on the single-season list, 11 home runs tied for eighth, 46 RBI tied for seventh, .662 slugging percentage tied for third … 24 of her 44 hits went for extra bases … hit .324 at the dish in 50 games … made 42 starts … scored 22 runs … 90 total bases … five sacrifices … one stolen base … got on base at a .384 rate … 2-for-2 with an RBI and one run scored versus Sacramento State (Feb. 21) … doubled in four straight games (March 15-March 22), the first coming versus No. 6 Arizona State (March 15) … two doubles, three RBI and one homer in her Melissa Cook Stadium debut, a doubleheader with Toledo (March 18) … three-run homer against Ball State (March 24) … began her 21-game hitting streak with a grand slam against Western Michigan (March 25) … the streak ended after doubling versus Rutgers (April 19) and going hitless in game one of a twinbill with North Dakota State (April 22) … two RBI at USF (March 29) … 2-for-3 with a double and home run against Seton Hall while driving in four scores … four more RBI came off of her second grand slam of the season, this one against Valparaiso (April 9) … accounted for seven RBI versus the Crusaders, as each of her two hits in the doubleheader were home runs … crushed Providence (April 30) in game one with a 2-for-3 showing at the plate … each of her two hits were home runs – into a fierce wind blowing from center field to home plate – which yielded a season-high six RBI, including her third grand slam … it was the last of her 11 multi-RBI outputs … had two hits in the BIG EAST Championship against Louisville (May 8) and one RBI … doubled versus Michigan (May 17) in the NCAA Tournament … committed one error in 41 chances … season-high four assists came while playing second base against Western Michigan … twice had three putouts from the outfield.

PREP AND PERSONAL:Four-year starter for Edison (Calif.) … after seeing most of her defensive action at third base and shortstop, she was a two-time all-conference and first-team all-leaguer … as a junior, she posted a .329 batting average with 16 RBI and three homers … the 16 RBI tied her for fourth among league players, while the trio of bombs was enough for fourth-best among Sunset League batters … one of six members of her Firecrackers Gold travel squad that signed with Division I programs including her twin sister, Rachel, who plays at UC Davis … in 2007, the sisters connected for back-to-back homers during one of Edison[apos]s regular-season contests … against some of the top teams from California, Miller led Edison to the quarterfinals of the Woodbridge 25th Annual Tournament in April 2007 … recognized as a CIF scholar athlete in each of her four prep seasons … team[apos]s offensive player of the year after taking home all-tournament honors in California[apos]s Cypress Tournament in 2007 … daughter of Chris and Jeanne Miller … born July 15, 1989 … pre-professional studies major in the College of Arts & Letters … also majoring in anthropology.
