AS A FRESHMAN (2024)

• Appeared in 43 games as a freshman, making one start
• Scored 19 runs as the team’s first pinch runner off the bench
• Stole three bases in three attempts
• Scored 11 runs in 23 ACC games
• Earned her first collegiate at bats in her first start against South Alabama (Feb. 9)
• Recorded her first stolen base to get into scoring position as she scored her first run against Samford (Feb. 16)
• Tallied two at bats as she came in off the bench against Samford (Feb. 17)
• Scored a run in four consecutive appearances (March 3-10)
• Scored the game-tying run in the 6-5 walk-off win over Clemson (April 21)
• Scored a run in the ACC Tournament as the Irish eliminated North Carolina (May 8)

PREP AND PERSONAL

• Lettered all four seasons she competed at Hart High School under head coach Steve Calendo
• Three-time All-Foothill Conference honoree
• Two-time first team all-conference selection
• Second team all-conference honoree as a sophomore
• Totaled 122 hits, 31 doubles, 11 triples, 15 home runs, 64 RBI and 112 runs scored during her three-year high school career (freshman year canceled due to COVID-19)
• Four-time Hart High honor roll honoree
• Named SBLive’s Southern California Player of the Week in March of 2022
• Played under Dean Fausett and the SoCal Choppers Fausett club team
• Was a four-year National Honor Society member at HHS
• Daughter of Marybeth and Derek Sweet
• Younger sister of All-American centerfielder and former team captain Abby Sweet, and has a brother, Dylan
• Chose Notre Dame because of the connection and it feeling like a second home. Believes the connection she shares with this campus will help her become a well-rounded person in all aspects of life, on and off the field
• Taught herself to play five instruments to develop love and passion for music
