Meg Reynolds 2009-10 Swimming and Diving Roster

AS A SENIOR (2010-11): Competed in the sprint freestyle and butterfly during her final season with the Irish… swam to season-best times of 24.56, 53.66 and 1:00.32 in the 50 free, 100 free and 100 fly, respectively at the BIG EAST Championships as an exhibition swimmer … cut nearly a half second in the 50 free, one and a half seconds in the 100 free and two seconds in the 100 fly off her previous season best times at the league meet.

AS A JUNIOR (2009-10): Swam to two season-best times at the BIG EAST Championship as an exhibition swimmer … season-best performances at the league meet included times of 59.53 in the 100 fly and 53.12 in the 100 free … set a new personal record in the 50 free when she left off an Irish relay at the Hoosierland Invitational in a time of 23.69 … took eighth place at the Hoosierland Invitational in the 50 free to end the first half of the schedule… swam the 100 free in every meet that she competed in for the Irish.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2008-09): Continued to improve throughout the season … capped off her second year with a respectable showing in the final dual meet at Michigan … posted career-bests in the 50 free (24.03), 100 free (52.32) and 100 fly (57.07) against the Wolverines … swam the 50 free on nine occasions throughout the campaign … had the seventh-fastest times in the 50 free, 100 free and 100 fly for the Irish.

AS A FRESHMAN (2007-08): Fastest time in the 50 free (24.66) came during the BIG EAST Championships … next best time in the event was at the Husky Invitational (24.68) … made it through the 100 free in 54.25 at the BIG EAST Championships … swam the 100 fly on four occasions … top time was a 1:01.68 at the Shamrock Invitational … also went the distance in the event during the Husky Invitational (1:01.96), Irish Invitational (1:02.01).

THE REYNOLDS FILE:Named a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American … earned NISCA All-America honors … Junior National qualifier … as a sophomore, was the high school state champion in the 400 free relay as a prep at Wesleyan (Ga.) … two-time all-state swimmer … member of the National Honor Society and National Art Honor Society … born July 15, 1989, in Hartford, Conn. … daughter of Mary and Tom Reynolds … her older sister, Caitlin, swims at Stanford … attended the final Major League Baseball All-Star game at Yankee Stadium … graduated from the Mendoza College of Business with a degree in finance.
