AS A SENIOR (2010-11): Registered four top 10 finishes (two individual, two relay) at the BIG EAST Championships … relay performances included a gold medal in the 400 free relay (3:19.68) and a silver medal in the 200 free relay (1:31.98) … now has five All BIG EAST honors awards with the two relay showings … touched the pad in seventh place in the 100 free with a 50.87 swim and clocked in at 23.35 for a 10th-place finish in the 50 free at the league meet … both swims were personal bests … recorded two of the top five times in 50 free in her senior season … earned her second consecutive BIG EAST Academic All-Star honor.

AS A JUNIOR (2009-10): Set two personal-best times and swam to a season-best performance at the BIG EAST Championships as an exhibition swimmer … personal-best performances included times of 23.49 in the 50 free and 51.37 in the 100 free while the season-best time came in the 100 back with a time of 56.00 … topped out at 2:04.89 in the 200 back in a meet against league foe Louisville … swam nine backstroke events for the Irish over the course of the season … shaved nearly six seconds off her 200 back and over four seconds off her 100 back time over the course of the season.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2008-09): Fought through the season by racing with an injured knee … underwent knee surgery at season[apos]s end … shelved top-15 finishes at the BIG EAST Championships in the 100 back (55.79), 200 back (2:00.39) and 100 fly (55.68) … had strong dual meet swims in the 100 free (52.48) at Louisville and in a tri-meet with Northwestern and Toledo in the 100 back (56.80) and 200 back (2:02.21) … swam the 100 fly (58.28) and 200 IM (2:08.70) at the Shamrock Invitational.

AS A FRESHMAN (2007-08): Three-time all-BIG EAST performer … teamed up to set school records in the 200 (1:31.07) and 400 free relay (3:19.38) at the BIG EAST Championships … both were BIG EAST records … shot through the 25 free at the Husky Invitational in 11.05 … registered a 24.42 in the 50 free during the Shamrock Invitational … top 100 free time came at Toledo in 53.07 … had three shots at the 200 free … best mark in that event was a 1:53.31 swim during the Shamrock Invitational … best 50 back (24.76) performance was swam at Toledo … raced the 100 back in a season-best time of 55.63 at the BIG EAST Championships … in the 200 back, clocked in at 1:58.47 at the BIG EAST meet for a third-place finish … swam her best 100 fly (57.44) at the Husky Invitational … tore through the finals of the 200 IM at the BIG EAST meet in 2:03.76.

THE PARISI FILE: Placed second in the 200 back at Junior Nationals in 2007 … as a senior, was nationally ranked in the 100 and 200 back … placed 15th in the 200m back in her first national meet at age 11 … has taken part in four national championship meets … 16-time All-American … as a senior she was New York[apos]s state champion in the 200 IM and the 100 back … two-time team captain and four-time team MVP at Hauppauge (N.Y.) … competed in seven state championship meets with Hauppauge … earned all-conference, all city and all-state honors all four years as a prep … holds five individual event records at Hauppauge and three top marks in medley events … admits to being terrified of open water and holding her breath … aunt swam at Fordham … began swimming at the age of 11 … born Dec. 29, 1989, in Manhasset, N.Y. … daughter of Maureen and Joe Parisi … the oldest of two children … graduated from the College of Arts and Letters with a degree in psychology.
