AS A SENIOR (2009-10): Wrapped up Notre Dame career as the school record holder in the 500 free and the 200 fly and a member of the school record holding 400 medley relay and 800 free relay squads … holds six of the top 10 performances in the 200 fly in school history … swam to a fifth place finish in the 200 fly (1:47.59) and an eighth place finish in both the 100 fly (49.15) and the 500 free (4.32.15) at the BIG EAST Championships … season best times, which included times of 4:29.35 in the 500 free, 48.59 in the 100 fly and 1:47.23 in the 200 fly, came in the preliminary session of the league meet … his performance in the 200 fly was an NCAA B-cut … additional top season times in the 200 free (1:43.17) and the 200 back (1:56.83) came in a dual meet against Michigan State … swept the fly events in a conference meet against Pittsburgh for two of his three wins on the season … concluded the dual meet season with five top three finishes in the 200 fly.

AS A JUNIOR (2008-09): Teamed to set an 800 free relay league and school record of 6:27.19 to start the BIG EAST Championships … topped out at the BIG EAST meet with a 4:26.75 in the 500 free … went 48.49 in the 100 fly at the league meet … top 200 fly performance was posted against league foes in a time of 1:45.06 … swam the 200 IM against Pittsburgh in 1:55.52 … speared through in 1:37.30 in the 200 free against Olivet … went 46.46 in the 100 free at the Ohio State Invitational … featured in November 2008 issue of Swimming World Magazine … CSCAA All-Academic Honorable Mention.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2007-08): Broke through with an incredible season while leaving his mark on the conference and international scenes … finished third in the 200 fly during the Canadian Olympic Trials, which earned him a spot on Canada[apos]s Tri Nations Cup team … set a lifetime best at the Trials by swimming 2:00.64 in the prelim heats of the 200m fly, nearly three seconds faster than his previous best … turned around and posted a time of 2:00.12 in the evening session, the third-best time of the session, which narrowly missed the cut to join the Canadian Olympic Team … proceeded to win the gold in the 200m fly at the Tri Nations Cup meet in Quebec City, where he topped the podium after checking in with a time of 2:00.13 …wononeofCanada[apos]ssixgoldmedalstoopen the two-day meet which features the top prospects expected to challenge for spots on the 2012 Olympic teams for Canada, France and Great Britain … brought back four all-league honors from the BIG EAST Championships … second in the 800 free relay, 400 medley relay and 200 fly while striking gold in the 500 free … his efforts in the 800 free relay (6:32.45), 500 free (4:22.05) and 200 fly (1:45.94) were each good for school records … the 500 free performance set a new standard in the BIG EAST record books.

AS A FRESHMAN (2006-07): Swam in 10 different events over the course of the season … had a win at the Ohio State Invitational in the 200 fly … top times included: 1:43.75 (200 free), 4:28.38 (500 free), 9:51.77 (1,000 free), 53.48 (100 back), 1:56.85 (200 back), 2:19.88 (200 breast), 50.51 (100 fly), 1:47.54 (200 fly), 1:56.82 (200 IM) and 3:38.08 (400 IM) … that 500 free time at the BIG EAST Championship was the team[apos]s third-fastest over the season[apos]s stretch and no Irish swimmer topped his 200 fly mark.

THE LEBLANC FILE: The 2006 Speedo Champions Series (College Station, Texas) Swimmer of the Meet … swims with the City of Plano Swimmers club team … specializes in the 200 fly, 400 IM and 500 free … swam an Olympic Trials cut in the 200m fly with a time of 2:03.80 at the 2005 US ConocoPhillips Nationals … posted a U.S. Nationals cut in the 200-yard fly at the 2005 GU Speedo Championships … has personal-best times of 49.67 in the 100 fly and 1:47.90 in the 200 fly…has been tabbed an All- American in the 500 free and the 200 IM along with being named an academic All-American … career-best time in the 200 IM is 1:52.63 and 3:58.41 in the 400 IM … holds Plano East school records in the 200 IM and as part of the 200 medley and the 200 free relays … 2006 Texas state champion in the 500 free … personal-bests of 1:41.39 in the 200 free and 4:29.43 in the 500 free … named 2005-06 Plano East Male Athlete of the Year … full name is MacKenzie Douglas LeBlanc … born Sept. 9, 1987, in Alberta, Canada … son of Grace and Doug LeBlanc … has a younger brother, Anthony, and an older sister, Kayli … sister swam for Centenary and graduated in 2006 while Anthony currently swims for the same program … graduated from the Mendoza College of Business as a finance major.
