AS A SENIOR (2011-12): Fourth-place finisher (52.78) in the 100 back at Pittsburgh … logged a personal-best time of 45.38 in the 100 free at Purdue … claimed third in the 200 IM (2:03.98) at Valparaiso … runner-up in the 200 back (1:56.99) at Valparaiso … touched the wall in 21.38 in the 50 free at the Shamrock Invitational … clocked a 50.77 in the 100 back at the Hawkeye Invitational … fifth-place finisher in the 100 back (50.53) at the Shamrock Invitational … time of 1:51.34 earned sixth place in the 200 back at the Shamrock Invitational … won the 200 IM with a personal-best 1:50.31 at the Shamrock Invitational.

AS A JUNIOR (2010-11): Developed into an individual medley swimmer for the Irish in his junior campaign while also swimming backstroke, his signature stroke … swam to two personal-best times at the BIG EAST Championships in the 100 back (49.72) and in the 200 IM (1:50.90) … an additional career best showing came at the Hawkeye Invitational with a 1:49.65 performance in the 200 back … also swam to a season-best time of 21.51 in the 50 free while at the invitational .

AS A SOPHOMORE (2009-10): Focused mainly on the freestyle and backstroke events for Notre Dame … set a personal best in the 100 back (50.14) at the BIG EAST Championships preliminary session as an exhibition swimmer … touched the wall in 21.15 in the 50 free at the Shamrock Invitational for a season best time … froze the clock at 47.01 in the 100 free at the Ohio State Invitational for a his top performance in that event on the season … claimed top personal times for the season in the 200 back (1:58.16) and 200 IM (2:03.12) in a tri- meet with Cleveland State and Miami (Ohio) and in the 100 breast (1:01.73) against Michigan State.

AS A FRESHMAN (2008-09): Steady contributor for the Irish in his first season … went 21.01 in the 50 free at the BIG EAST Championships … top 100 free (46.26) performance also came during the league meet … shaved five seconds off his 100 back time throughout the year, finishing with a 50.27 at the BIG EAST finale.
