AS A SENIOR (2011-12): Compete primarily in the 1,000 free during his senior campaign … finished in sixth in the 1,000 free at Pittsburgh … member of the 400 free relay team at Louisville … logged a fourth-place finish in the 400 IM exhibition at Louisville … swam a then career-best 4:10.90 in the 400 IM preliminary round at the Hawkeye Invitational … third leg of the 800 free relay team at the Hawkeye Invitational … participated in the 1,000 free against Northwestern … fourth-place finisher (4:33.62) in the 500 free at the Shamrock Invitational … logged a personal-best 4:08.37 in the 400 IM at the Shamrock Invitational … posted a 2:07.62 in the 200 breast at the Shamrock Invitational.

AS A JUNIOR (2010-11): Swam to a personal-best time of 2:05.06 in the preliminary session of the 200 breast as an exhibition swimmer at the BIG EAST Championships … also swam to season-best times in the 500 free (4:31.90) and 1,650 free (16:05.53) at the league meet as an exhibition swimmer … swam to a top season time in the 1,000 free (10:00.52) against Pittsburgh.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2009-10): A long distance freestyler as well as a breaststroker for the Irish … claimed a sixth-place finish in the 1650 free (15:41.09) and an 14th-place finish in the 200 breast (2:06.18) … both were season best times … swam top times for the season in the 500 free (4:35.10) and the 100 breast (59.09) at the Ohio State Invitational … finished in 9:43.52 in the 1000 free for the top time on the season … amassed five top three finishes over the course of the regular season which included two in the 500 free and three in the 1000 free.

AS A FRESHMAN: Burst into the BIG EAST Championships point standings with a third-place finish in the 1,650 free (15:34.85) to earn his first all- league citation … that time was nearly 20 seconds better than his previous best recorded during the fall at the Ohio State Invitational … also swam the 200 free (1:42.46) and 500 free (4:30.85) at the league meet.
