AS A SENIOR:Finished career as a highly versatile and dependable swimmer…competed in two breast events at the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Championships… swam to 19th place in 100 breast finals (54.43)… touched the wall to earn 23rd place in 200 breast finals (201.28)… had five top-three finishes in 100 breast during the regular season… best time for the season came at the Hawkeye Invitational, where he clinched third (54.65)… swam to first in the 100 fly against Cleveland State, setting a season best (49.73)… set season best in 200 IM at Hawkeye Invitational, swimming to third (1:49.56)… swam the second leg of 200 medley three times with the team’s best performance being against Virginia Tech and Pittsburgh where the clinched second (1:31.46)… was the third leg for the 400 medley team that secured fourth at the Hawkeye Invitational (3:18.94)… clinched three first place wins against Olivet Nazarene… as the second leg of the 200 free relay team (1:23.90)… as the second leg of 400 IM (3:28.92)… third leg of 300 breast 3×100 relay (2:55.71)… earned a monogram.
AS A JUNIOR: Swam a myriad of events with the Irish, setting personal bests in each event … in 50 free, never finished outside the top 10 … highest finish came in dual meet with Purdue, where he placed fourth in 50 free (21.55) … set career record in 50 free (21.48) in tri-meet with Northwestern and Michigan … swam lead leg of 400 free relay a handful of times … personal best in 100 free came at Hawkeye Invitational, where he touched the wall in 46.85 … in sole outing in 200 free, came in first against Cleveland State with a 1:41.85 mark … had impressive finish at Hawkeye Invite in 100 breast (55.37), placing ninth … against Michigan State and Virginia, came in second in 100 breast (57.53) … in 200 breast, came in fifth against Purdue with a 2:06.21 mark … logged fastest time in the 200 breast at Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Championship meet, touching in at 2:00.23 … in 100 fly, came in second (50.67) in tri-meet with Michigan State and Virginia, before finishing first against Wisconsin (50.18) the following day … placed fourth in 100 fly at Hawkeye Invitational (48.88) and set career record … in 200 IM, always finished in top-10 … touched in at third place in the prelim swims at Hawkeye Invitational (1:47.97) and ACC Championship (1:48.24) in 200 IM, before finishing eighth at both meets with 1:48.90 and 1:48.24 marks respectively … earned a monogram.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2012-13): Recorded top times of the season in the 400 IM (3:53.27) prelims and the 200 IM (1:50.98) prelims at the BIG EAST Championships … had a strong showing at the Northwestern Invitational, placing fourth in the 200 IM (1:51.29) and third in the 400 IM (4:02.74) … swam five events at the Shamrock Invitational, finishing with two fifth-place finishes in the 100 fly (50.47) and 200 free relay (1:27.45), two sixth-place finishes in the 400 IM (4:03.98) and 200 IM (1:52.64), and a fourth-place finish in the 800 free relay … turned in a fast performance against Pittsburgh with a runner-up finish in the 200 breast (2:06.75) and also a runner-up finish in the 200 IM (1:52.57) … earned a monogram.
AS A FRESHMAN (2011-12): Regular entrant in the 200 free, 200 breast, and 200 and 400 IM in first collegiate season … made first Notre Dame appearance at the quad meet with Michigan, TCU and Oakland, competing in the 200 breast and 200 IM … third-place finisher in the 400 IM (4:05.47) in a dual meet at Purdue … touched the wall in 1:49.68 in the 200 IM and 3:56.30 in the 400 IM at the Hawkeye Invitational … logged a third-place finish (4:01.89) in the 400 IM at the Shamrock Invitational … clocked a 1:51.72 for fourth in the 200 IM at the same meet … swam three events at the BIG EAST Championships, setting personal-bests in the 200 breast (2:03.07) and the 400 IM (3:54.23) … earned a monogram.
