AS A SOPHOMORE: Saw improvement in five total events in his second year with the Irish … lowered four personal-best marks at the Hawkeye Invitational, hitting the wall in the 100 back (52.35), 200 back (1:51.50), 200 IM (1:52.50), and 400 IM (4:00.95) to log top times in those events … recorded a swim in the 100 breast that stopped the clock at 58.37 at the Shamrock Invitational … saw dual meet action against Louisville, Northwestern, Michigan State, and Valparaiso … won second monogram.

AS A FRESHMAN: Competed in primarily the back and individual medley events in his first season in South Bend … topped out at 54.29 in the 100 back at the Hawkeye Invitational … also notched a season-best time of 4:03.73 in the 400 IM at the invitational … registered two additional career-best performances at the Shamrock Invitational with swims of 1:52.00 in the 200 back and 1:54.07 in the 200 IM … tried his luck at the 50 free against Purdue and clocked in at 22.83.

THE SULLIVAN FILE: Swam four years at Bishop Feehan (N.Y.) while earning four letters … four-time all-conference choice … three-time conference champion … two-time team captain … set school records in the 200 medley relay, 200 free relay and 400 free relay … also swam for Bluefish Swim Club … member of National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Science Honor Society and English Honor Society … son of Maria and Paul Sullivan … brother, Michael swam for Notre Dame from 2007 to 2011 … finance major.
