AS A SENIOR (2015-16): Swam in four meets in senior season … began the year at Virginia, swimming on four relays … took third with 400 free relay (57.60 split), fifth with 200 free relay (25.73 leadoff split), sixth with 200 medley relay (25.40 split) and seventh with 400 medley relay (56.21) … individually finished sixth in 100 back (1:02.92) and seventh in 50 free (25.69) … against Northwestern, placed fifth with 400 free relay (54.97 split) and clocked in at 1:00.79 in 100 back, 25.43 in 50 free and 57.38 in 100 fly … at Shamrock Invitational, highest finish came with fifth-place 400 free relay team (54.56 split) … claimed seventh with 200 medley relay (25.40 split) and earned a pair of ninth-place finishes in 100 fly (56.81) and 400 medley relay (56.73 split) … touched in at 24.75 in 50 free, 1:00.19 in 100 back and 54.53 in 100 free … finished Irish career at Michigan First Chance meet, winning 100 fly (55.35) and taking second in 50 free (24.19) and 100 free (53.69) … time-trialed to the time of 57.85 in the 100 back.

AS A JUNIOR (2014-15): Participated in the free, back and fly events throughout the season … best individual times included 54.35 in the 100 free (vs. Cleveland State), 58.47 in the 100 back (Texas Invitational), 2:15.07 in the 200 back (vs. Illinois), 55.97 in the 100 fly (Shamrock Invitational) and 2:12.66 in the 200 fly (vs. Purdue) … named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2013-14): Saw action in free, back, fly and medley and free relay events … notched a career-best time and an NCAA B cut in the 100 fly (53.88) at the ACC Championships to finish ninth … also turned in a career-best in the 200 fly (22nd – 2:01.96) at the ACC Championships and placed 17th in the 100 fly (53.88) … aided the 200 free relay team to a first place finish at the Shamrock Invitational … finished third out of 25 swimmers in the 100 fly at the Shamrock Invitational … selected to the ACC Academic Honor Roll … earned a monogram.

AS A FRESHMAN (2012-13): Saw action in the free, back and fly events during first campaign with the Irish … competed at the Shamrock Invitational, the Kansas Classic and the Ohio State Invitational … named to the BIG EAST All-Academic team … earned a monogram.

PREP & PERSONAL: Six-time letter winner at Hinsdale Central (Ill.) in water polo (two) and swimming (four) … All-American in the 200 medley relay (four times), 100 fly (three times), 200 free relay (two times) and the 400 relay (two times) … placed at the state meet in the 100 fly three times – junior year (third), senior year (fifth) and sophomore year (sixth) … four-time all-state and all-conference selection … held records in the 100 fly, 200 fly, 200 medley and freestyle relays for the Westmont Swim Club at the time of graduation … named the 2010 Eileen McMenamin Award Winner for Westmont Swim Club … named team captain junior and senior seasons … voted most valuable player of the season for swimming twice and once for water polo at Hinsdale Central … full name is Genevieve Marie Heidkamp … born in Downers Grove, Illinois to Susan and Terrence Heidkamp … has two sisters and one brother … grandfather (`52), father, Terrence (`78), brother, George (`07), and sister, Lisa (`10), attended Notre Dame … graduated from the University with a degree in electrical engineering from the College of Engineering in addition to receiving a supplementary degree from the College of Arts & Letters in Spanish.
