AS A JUNIOR (2015-16): Remained steady performer for the Irish, culminating at ACC Championship meet … at ACCs, swam to fifth place with 800 free relay (1:36.18 split) and individually finished 24th in 500 free (4:27.01 finals, 4:26.05 prelims), 22nd in the 400 IM (3:56.11 finals, 3:52.43 prelims) and 12th in the 200 fly (1:45.22 finals, 1:45.88 prelims) … finished the year racing at the Ohio State Last Chance meet in the 200 fly (1:44.01 prelims, 1:43.82 finals) and the 200 back (2:10.38) … began the year in first place in the 400 IM relay (53.28 leadoff split) at the Dennis Stark Relays, also earning fifth in the 300 fly relay (52.03 split) … won the 400 IM (4:02.31), claimed second in the 200 back (1:53.52) and fourth in the 400 medley relay (51.54 leadoff split) against Michigan State … at Virginia Tech, swan to 10th place in the 400 IM (4:08.97), 12th in the 200 back (1:57.17), 11th in the 200 IM (1:59.83) and ninth in the 100 back (53.82), helping 400 medley relay finish seventh (52.17 leadoff split) … struggled at Purdue Invitational but bounced back at Virginia, claiming fifth with the 400 medley relay (53.13 leadoff) and a pair of sixth place times in the 200 back (1:54.67) and 200 medley relay (23.94 leadoff) against the Cavaliers … versus Northwestern, touched the wall fourth in 200 back (1:51.99), fifth with the 200 medley relay (24.03 leadoff) and seventh in the 500 free (4:44.02) … in Shamrock Invitational, clocked in at 4:43.20 in 500 free and split 51.73 leading off the 400 medley relay … split 24.51 (leadoff) with 200 medley and 1:40.80 with 800 free relays, with 800 team taking third place … swam the 400 IM in 4:08.73, good for 12th place, and the 200 back (1:53.58) and 200 fly (1:54.17) saw him touch in 10th and ninth place respectively … named a men’s captain for 2016-17 season at end-of-year banquet and earned a monogram.

AS A FRESHMAN (2013-14): Came on strong toward the end of the season, racking up impressive showings at both the NCAA and Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Championships … set individual program records in the preliminary 400 IM (3:45.82) and 200 backstroke (1:44.05) at the ACC Championships, while also checking in at 4:24.06 in the 500 free … one of seven swimmers to represent Notre Dame at the NCAA Championships, helping the 200 free relay team to a 26th-place finish in the preliminary round (1:20.93) while also aiding the 800 free relay team to a 19th-place finish in the preliminary round (6:26.18) … earned a pair of victories at the Hawkeye Invitational, blitzing past the field in the 400 IM (3:46.22) and contributing to the 800 free relay team’s first-place finish (6:32.15) … earned a monogram.
