AS A JUNIOR (2015-16): One of two consistent divers for the Irish in 2015-16 … finished the season strong at the ACC Championship and NCAA Zone C Championship meets … at Zones, broke school record on platform in prelims (305.90), advancing to finals where he placed ninth (603.05), just shy of qualifying … also scored 283.60 in 3-meter … at ACC Championship, highest finish was 13th in platform (299.15) … scored 275,90 in 3-meter and 270.85 in 1-meter … began season against Michigan State, earning first place in 1-meter (318.82) with a mark that would remain the best of the season … finished runner-up in 3-meter against the Spartans (340.20) … against Virginia Tech and Pittsburgh, finished sixth in both disciplines, scoring 284.65 in 1-meter and 306.65 in 3-meter … at Purdue Invitational, advanced to finals in all three events … placed fourth in 1-meter (281.45 finals, 272.40 prelims), eighth in 3-meter (247.50 finals, 240.20 prelims) and second in platform (290.55) … versus Northwestern, earned a pair of runner-up finishes (260.35 in 1-meter, 325.05 in 3-meter) … took fifth in 3-meter at Shamrock Invitational meet (298.40) and ninth in 1-meter (228.10) to close out regular season … earned a monogram.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2014-15): A solid competitor for the Irish, who improved throughout the season … began the year teaming up at Dennis Stark Relays meet with classmate Joe Coumos, winning the 1-meter relay diving event (combined score 672.14, individually scoring 328.57) … and taking second in the 3-meter synchro diving competition (283.80) … in an exhibition meet with Georgia Tech and south Carolina, took fourth in the 1-meter competition (295.15) and ninth in 3-meter (249.55) … the next day against Auburn, finished third in 1-meter (337.65) and seventh in 3-meter (332.85) … versus Purdue, came in seventh in 1-meter (303.52) and sixth in 3-meter (316.50) … exhibitioned in home meet against Virginia Tech and Pittsburgh, scoring 257.75 in the 1-meter and 283.70 in 3-meter competition … at Michigan State, took third in 1-meter (285.90) and fifth in 3-meter (315.67) … at Hawkeye Invitational meet, scored 254.00 in the prelims of 3-meter competition … at Michigan, came in third place (298.60) in the 1-meter event and ninth in 3-meter (256.25) … at Wisconsin, scored 297.85 in 1-meter and 290.20 in 3-meter … in Shamrock Invitational, finished third in 1-meter (325.90) and came in ninth place in 3-meter (326.20) … versus Cleveland State the following week, took sixth in 1-meter (290.62) and second in 3-meter (371.25) … at ACC Championships, barely missed qualifying for evening finals in 1-meter, with preliminary score of 314.40 … scored 280.05 in the 3-meter event and 252.65 in the platform competition … at NCAA Zone C diving championships, scored 276.40 in the preliminary competition for men’s 1-meter and 280.00 in preliminary 3-meter diving … qualified for the finals in platform diving (241.30 prelim score), finishing 17th (468.90) … earned a monogram and was awarded the team’s most improved diver award.

AS A FRESHMAN (2013-14): One of two freshmen divers to see extensive action … had an excellent performance at the Hawkeye Invitational, scoring 39 points for the Irish through a fourth-place finish in the 3-meter (321.50), fourth-place finish in the 1-meter (306.80) and ninth-place finish in the platform (215.30) … dove to a pair of seventh-place finishes at the Shamrock Invitational in the 3-meter and 1-meter … also cracked the top-10 twice during dual meet at Louisville, finishing fifth in the 1-meter (293.02) and sixth in the 3-meter (278.18) … earned a monogram.

PREP AND PERSONAL: Competed in both diving and track and field at Adlai E. Stevenson High School … three-time state championship qualifier in diving, placing third at the competition in both his junior and senior seasons … set the school record in both the 6 and 11-dive competitive format during prep career … member of two undefeated swimming and diving squads during final two seasons … participated in club gymnastics with 5 Star Power Tumbling and Trampoline … earned top-10 competitive finishes in the double mini event at the Loule World Cup, the Stars and Stripes Cup, the World Age Group Championships and the Canada Cup, with wins at the Stars and Stripes Cup and the Canada Cup … placed ninth in the trampoline at the 2012 United States Olympic Trials … was the second-ranked competitor in the world on trampoline in the 17-18 age group … was a member of the 300 Club in recognition of community service hours, and was an All-State Scholar at Adlai Stevenson High … son of Mitch and Judy Lichtenstein … has one sister, Jennifer … uncle, RC Lichtenstein, played baseball at the University of Illinois at Chicago … majoring in Finance at the University.
