  • Undeniably Notre Dame’s top swimmer in the opener against Pitt/Penn State, as he won the 400 IM (3:54.23) and 500 (4:24.78) and 1000 free (9:12.53)
  • Won the 500 (4:23.31) and 1000 free (9:04.86) vs Louisville
  • Won the 500 free (4:14.24) and 400 IM (3:43.52) at the Ohio State Invitational, finished fourth in the 1650 free (14:58.23)
  • Won the 500 free (4:16.78), 1650 free (14:55.28) and 400 IM (3:43.06) against Navy and Princeton

As a Sophomore (2020-21)

  • Placed first in the 1000-yard Freestyle (8:51.86). Placed first in the 500-yard Freestyle (4:16.87). Placed first in the 400-yard IM (3:46.42) in the virtual meet vs. West Virginia (Nov. 6-7, 2020).
  • Placed first in the 1000-yard Freestyle (8:51.68). Placed first in the 500-yard Freestyle (4:17.23). Placed third in the 400-yard Freestyle Relay with Thacher Scannell, Luke Uttley, and Brendan Santana (3:01.45) in the dual meet win vs. Cincinnati (Dec. 4, 2020).
  • Placed first in the 1000-yard Freestyle (9:09.17). Placed first in the 500-yard Freestyle (4:25.01). Placed second in the 400-yard Freestyle Relay with Cason Wilburn, Topher Stensby, and Sadler McKeen (2:57.12) in the dual meet vs. No. 13 Louisville (Jan. 9, 2021).
  • Placed first in the 500-yard Freestyle (4:15.39). Placed first in the 400-yard IM (3:43.78). Placed first in the 800-yard Freestyle Relay with Cason Wilburn, Max Miranda, and Sadler McKeen (6:28.06). Placed first in the 1650-yard Freestyle (14:59.49). Placed first in the 400-yard Freestyle Relay with Cason Wilburn, Alec Delong, and Sadler McKeen (2:57.42) in the win over Missouri State in the Shamrock Invitational (Jan. 21-23, 2021).
  • Placed first in the 200-yard Backstroke (1:44.76). Placed second in the 100-yard Breaststroke (54.33). Placed third in the 400-yard Medley Relay with Kaden Smesko, JP Becker, and Luke Uttley (3:17.35). Placed first in the 200-yard IM (1:46.49). Placed first in the 100-yard Freestyle (8:49.95) in the dual meet win over West Virginia (Jan. 29-30, 2021).
  • Won three ACC Individual Championships, winning the ACC’s Most Valuable Swimmer. Placed first in the 500-yard Freestyle (4:11.26). Placed first in the 400-yard IM (3:40.99). Placed first in the 1650-yard Freestyle (14:31.83) in Notre Dame’s seventh-place finish at the ACC Championships (Feb. 24-27, 2021). Placed sixth in the 800-yard Freestyle Relay with Sadler McKeen, Liam Hutchinson, and Cason Wilburn (6:19.07).
  • Earned First-Team All-America status in one event and Honorable Mention All-America status in three events at the NCAA Championships (March 24-27, 2021). Placed 5th in the 1650 Free (14:33.93). Placed 10th in the 500 Free (4:12.13). Placed 11th in the 400 IM (3:41.99). Placed 16th in the 800 Free Relay (6:18.04).

As a Freshman (2019-20)

  • Placed first in the 500-yard Freestyle (4:24.83).  Placed second in the 200-yard Freestyle (1:38.32) vs. Purdue.
  • Placed first in the 1650-yard Freestyle (14:56.54).  Placed second in the 500-yard Freestyle (4:25.74).  Participated in the 400-yard Freestyle Relay with Topher Stensby, Liam Hutchinson, and Alec Delong (3:03.36) vs. Louisville.
  • Placed second in the 500-yard Freestyle (4:23.80).  Placed second in the 400-yard IM (3:54.46).  Placed second in the 200-yard Freestyle (1:38.44).  Placed second in the 1000-yard Freestyle (9:11.78) in the win over Pittsburgh.
  • Placed first in the 400-yard IM (3:46.95).  Placed first in the 800-yard Freestyle Relay with Zach Yeadon, Sadler McKeen, and Aaron Schultz (6:21.57).  Placed second in the 500-yard Freestyle (4:17.56).  Placed second in the 1650-yard Freestyle (14:54.93).  Placed second in the 400-LC Meter Freestyle (3:54.95).  Participated in the 400-yard Freestyle Relay with Topher Stensby, Jack Montesi, and Alec DeLong (3:01.01) in the second place finish at the Ohio State Fall Open Invitational.
  • Placed first in the 500-yard Freestyle (4:23.53). Placed first in the 1000-yard Freestyle (9:07.04). Participated in the 400-yard Freestyle Relay with Topher Stensby, Brendan Santana, and Alec Delong (3:06.47) against Iowa.
  • Placed first in the 1000-yard Freestyle (9:05.74). Placed second in the 500-yard Freestyle (4:23.86). Participated in the 400-yard Freestyle Relay with Marci Barta, Zachary Smith, and Brendan Santana (3:05.11) in the win against Northwestern.
  • Placed first in the 500-yard Freestyle (4:17.12).  Placed first in the 400-yard IM (3:46.38).  Placed first in the 1650-yard Freestyle (14:46.08).  Placed third in the 800-yard Freestyle Relay with Max Miranda, Marci Barta, and Luke Thornbrue (6:35.72).  Participated in the 200-yard Medley Relay with Jack Fitzpatrick, Charles Korndorffer, and Alec DeLong (1:31.15).  Participated in the 400-yard Freestyle Relay with Topher Stensby, Brendan Santana, and Alec DeLong (3:01.33) in the Shamrock Invitational.
  • Placed first in the 200-yard Breaststroke (2:03.64).  Placed third in the 200-yard Freestyle Relay with Alec DeLong, Matthew Limbacher, and Rex Riley (1:25.26) in the win against Michigan State, Ball State, and Indiana State.
  • Claimed the top finals spot in the 400-yard IM after a first-place prelims performance (3:43.45), placed second in the finals  (3:40.73).  Placed second in the 1650-yard Free (14:35.19).  Placed third in the 500-yard Free (4:12.15) at the ACC Championship.
