AS A GRADUATE AT NOTRE DAME (2023-24)
- Competed in six events against Navy and Princeton: 50 free (second — 19.92), 100 free (third — 43.44), 200 free relay (second), 400 free relay (first), 200 medley relay (first) and 400 medley relay (sixth). Elaraby’s 100 free time was his fastest of the season
- Posted a time of 23.08 in the 50M free at the U.S. Open, finishing 44th
- Had multiple impressive performances at the Ohio State Fall Invitational
- Finished fourth in the 50 free with a season-best time of 19.45. Notched the U.S. Open cut in the morning (22.65)
- Finished 16th in the 100 fly with a time of 47.76. Notched the U.S. Open cut in the morning (54.88)
- Part of two relays that broke school records — 200 free and 400 free
- Against Louisville, El-Araby won the 50 free with an NCAA B cut of 19.74. He also finished second in the 100 free (43.90) and third in the 100 fly (47.75)
- Won all four events in which he participated against Wisconsin — 50 freestyle (19.74), 100 freestyle (44.18), 200 medley relay (butterfly) and 400 freestyle relay
AS A GRADUATE AT LOUISVILLE (2022-23)
- Took 16th in the 50 free and 28th in the 100 free at NCAAs
- Won the 50 free at ACCs. All won four bronze medals
- Won the Wilma Rudolph Award for overcoming great personal and emotional odds
AS A SENIOR AT LOUISVILLE (2021-22)
- ACC silver medalist (50 free)
- Won four events (50 free, 100 fly, 200 medley relay and 200 free relay) in a dual meet against Cincinnati
AS A JUNIOR AT LOUISVILLE (2020-21)
- Took 17th in the 100 free and 26th in the 50 free at NCAAs
- Won the NCAA title in the 200 free relay
- Earned an NCAA bronze medal in the 400 free relay
AS A SOPHOMORE AT LOUISVILLE (2019-20)
- Qualified for NCAAs in the 50 freestyle before it was canceled due to COVID-19
- Won the silver medal in the 50 free at ACCs. Also took seventh in the 100 free and 13th in the 100 fly

- “I chose Notre Dame because it offers me a second chance on my collegiate athletics experience,” El-Araby said. “I’ll be able to transfer all of my knowledge and experience and honor the legacy of Irish athletics by leaving an impact on this team.”
