HONORS AND AWARDS

  • 2024 Captain’s Award

AS A SENIOR (2024-25)

  • Swam four events at the Ohio State Fall Invite, including making the D final in the 100/200 breast (1:04.33/2:22.97). Also swam 50 free and 400 IM
  • Placed third in the 200 breast against Louisville (2:17.29). Also swam 100 breast (1:03.16) and the 200 medley relay
  • At Indiana, finished fifth in the 100 breast (1:07.11) and third in the 200 breast (2:24.35)
  • Swam the 100 (1:06.79) and 200 (2:23.47) breast against Michigan and Wisconsin. Also swam breast on the 200 medley relay
  • Took fourth in the 200 breast (2:24.13) against Miami (OH). Also competed in the 400 medley and 200 free relays

AS A JUNIOR (2023-24)

  • Went season bests across the board in four different events at the Ohio State Winter Invite — 100 breast (1:03.85), 200 breast (2:17.61), 200 IM (2:05.42) and 400 IM (4:29.83). Lugbill won the 100 breast at the meet
  • At the Tim Welsh Classic, competed in the 200 IM (2:06.91), 400 IM (4:35.45), 200 breast (2:19.75), 400 medley relay and 400 free relay.
  • Swam five events against Princeton and Navy — 100 breast (1:06.24), 200 breast (2:22.20), 200 IM (2:10.95), 400 IM (4:34.13) and the 400 medley relay
  • At the Ohio State Fall Invitational, finished 10th in the 200 breast with a time of 2:19.55. Also finished 20th in the 400 IM (4:32.72) and 20th in the 100 breast (1:04.74)
  • Swam 100 breast (1:05.13), 200 breast (2:22.57) and 200 IM (2:11.11) at Louisville
  • Competed in the 200 breast (2:18.64, placed fifth) and 400 IM (4:33.10) against Pitt and Penn State. Also swam two relays
  • Finished seventh in the 100 breast (1:06.62),  sixth in the 200 breast (2:23.32) against Purdue. Also swam the 200 IM (2:11.58)
  • Swam three events at Wisconsin — 100 breaststroke (placed seventh, 1:05.58), 200 breaststroke (placed eighth, 2:22.56) and 200 IM (placed eighth, 2:11.39)

AS A SOPHOMORE (2022-23)

  • Competed in six meets for the Irish in her second year

AS A FRESHMAN (2021-22)

  • Competed at the 2022 ACC Championships in the 100 breaststroke (1:03.26), 400 IM (4:20.58) and 200 breaststroke.
  • Qualified for the C Finals in the 200 breaststroke and finished 23rd overall with a time of 2:14.12.
  • Finished third in the 200 butterfly (2:09.15) at the dual meet against UIC.
  • Placed eighth in the 100 breaststroke (1:03.39), ninth in the 200 breaststroke (2:18.17) and ninth in the 400 IM (4:26.68) at the Tim Welsh Classic.
  • Swam in the 400 IM finals (4:25.64), 200 IM finals (2:04.78), 200 breaststroke finals (2:19.21) and 100 breaststroke finals (1:03.91) at the Ohio State Invitational.
  • Finished runner-up in the 200 breaststroke (2:19.38) and fifth in the 100 breaststroke (1:04.64) at the dual meet against Purdue.
  • Won the 200 breaststroke (2:20.16) and finished fourth in the 100 breaststroke (1:04.34) in her first collegiate meet against Pittsburgh and Cleveland State.

  • Team captain as a junior and senior; team MVP as a junior.
  • NISCA All-American on nine instances.
  • Named three-time First Team All Cincinnati; has received first-team all-conference seven times and second team twice.
  • Best times: 200 Breast SCY (2:13.95), 200 IM SCY (2:01.91), 100 Breast SCY (1:02.60), 400 IM SCY (4:21.46), 200 IM LCM (2:22.63), 200 Breast LCM (2:32.99 – OT), 400 IM LCM (5:03.36), 100 Breast LCM (1:12.07).
  • Two-time team state champions
  • Holds school records in 50 Breast, 100 Breast, 200 IM, 200 Medley Relay.
  • Won rookie of the year (freshman) and most improved (sophomore), adding the 110% award as aa junior.
  • Swam for Mason Manta Rays club team; notched an Olympic Trial Cut in the 200 Breast (2:32.99); ranks in the Top 100 in the world in the 200 Breast.
  • Three-time USA Swimming Scholastic All-American
  • Has received William Mason’s Principles Award three times.
  • Taught children’s swim clinics, volunteers with Matthew 25 sorting donations and Pink Ribbon Girls, raising money for breast cancer efforts.
  • “I chose Notre Dame, because I could immediately tell how special it was. The blend of academics and athletics is amazing. The coaches care for you as a person outside of the pool, which was important to me. Plus, the Notre Dame community has such a great culture and is so welcoming,” Lugbill said.
