HONORS AND AWARDS

AS A SOPHOMORE (2025-26)

At the Miami Invite, placed 10th in the 200 free (1:50.31), second in the 200 fly (1:59.87), third in the 200 IM (2:00.49) and 11th in the 100 fly (55.77 finals, 55.62 prelims). Also swam on the 200 medley, 400 medley, 200 free and 400 free relays
At Louisville, placed fifth in the 200 fly (2:00.65) and seventh in the 100 fly (55.92). Also swam on the 400 free B relay that placed fifth
Went a best time in the 200 fly (1:58.11) and placed second against Northwestern. Also swam the 200 breast (2:18.07) and 400 free B relay that placed third
Against Michigan and Wisconsin, finished sixth in the 200 fly (2:01.54), 10th in the 200 breast (2:22.49) and seventh in the 200 IM (2:05.88)

AS A FRESHMAN (2024-25)

Swam three events at the 2025 ACC Championships — 100 breast (1:04.09), 200 breast (2:18.37) and 200 fly (1:59.14). Also swam the 200 IM in a time trial (2:03.10)
At the Tim Welsh Classic, placed 11th in the 100 and 200 breast (1:03.35/2:18.19), 17th in the 500 free (4:56.69) and swam fly on the 400 medley D relay
Versus Purdue and Kentucky, Kitayama swam the 200 fly (2:04.50) and 200 breast (2:22.05) plus breaststroke on the 400 medley A relay that finished fourth
Swam six events at the Ohio State Fall Invite and made two finals in the 100/200 breast (1:02.88/2:02.65). Also swam 500 free (4:58.63), 100 fly (55.74) and two relays
Swam three events against Louisville — 100 breast (1:02.31, placed third), 200 breast (placed fourth, 2:17.32) and 100 IM (57.46)
Swam four events at Indiana: 200 breast (placed second, 2:21.48), 200 fly (placed fourth, 2:02.64), 200 IM (placed second, 2:06.94) and the 200 medley relay (placed third, swam breast)
Against Michigan and Wisconsin, finished eighth in the 100 breast (1:05.67) and 200 breast (2:21.61), 11th in the 200 IM (2:07.67) and swam breaststroke on the 400 medley relay
Finished second in both the 100 (1:04.93) and 200 (2:22.63) breast against Miami (OH) to open her Notre Dame career
