AS A FRESHMAN (2025-26)

• Finished third in the 100 free (50.07), 13th in the 50 free (23.42) and ninth in the 200 free (1:49.25) at the Miami Invite. Also swam three relays, including the winning 400 free A relay
• At Louisville, finished sixth in the 200 free (1:49.22), fourth in the 50 free (23.50), fifth in the 100 free (50.44) and helped the 400 free A relay to second
• Against Northwestern, placed fifth in the 100 and 200 free (50.22/1:48.17) and sixth in the 50 free (23.14). Also led off the 400 free A relay that placed second with a time of 50.00
• Swam four events in her Notre Dame debut, a contest against Michigan and Wisconsin — 50 free (finished fourth, 23.36), 100 free (finished fifth, 50.55), 200 medley relay (free, finished fourth) and 400 free relay (finished fourth)

• Swam for the East Grand Rapids Aquatics Waves
• Six-time NISCA All-American
• Two-time MHSAA Division III Swimmer of the Year in 2023 & 2024
• MHSAA Division III state record holder in the 100 free
• USA Swimming Academic All-American
• MHSAA All-State in tennis (1 doubles)
• Has an extensive family history at Notre Dame — Mother (Beth Cooper) played golf, father (Ben Simon) played hockey, aunt (Katy Cooper) played golf, and uncle (Steve Verduzco) played baseball
• Chose Notre Dame for “it’s strong Catholic values, academic and athletic prestige, and the warmth of the community made it instantly feel like home.”
• Intends to major in business
