AS A SENIOR:Competed in 10 meets during the indoor/outdoor track & field season, while participating solely in shot put … placed 14th (14.47m) at the ACC Outdoor Championships … earlier in the season at the ACC Indoor Championships, placed 10th (15.05m) … recorded a 13th place finish (15.36m) at the Meyo Invitational … earned a 13th place finish (14.54m) at the New Mexico Team Invitational.
AS A JUNIOR: Competed in shot put for the Irish in eight meets … threw at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships and hurled a distance of 15.04m … finished 10th or better in every meet … placed second at the Polytan Invitational … finished eighth at the Victor Lopez Rice Bayou Invitational with best outdoor throw of the year (15.92m) … placed fourth at the Notre Dame Invitational … finished first at the Blue & Gold Invitational 2012 with best throw of the season (15.93 m) … named to the Dean[apos]s List for the spring 2013 semester.
AS A SOPHOMORE:Competed in shot put and weight throw on the year … advanced to the NCAA East Preliminary Round in shot put with a throw of 16.90m … was a champion in shot put (17.22m) at the Texas Roadhouse Border Battle … placed ninth or better all season long in both events … recorded a personal record in shot put (17.33m) at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships for a third-place finish, earning all-conference honors … gathered in a personal best in weight throw (14.28m) at the Notre Dame Blue & Gold Invitational with a ninth place finish … named a BIG EAST Academic All-Star … earned a monogram.
AS A FRESHMAN:Competed in shot put for the Irish … finished in fourth at the Blue & Gold Invitational with a distance of 14.54m in his first event of the season … threw a distance of 14.82m at the Notre Dame Invitational placing him seventh overall … placed 14th (15.16m) overall at the Meyo Invitational … placed ninth in his first appearance in the BIG EAST Championships with a total distance of 15.66m … finished fifth overall at the Purdue Mike Poehlein Invitational after placing first overall in his heat (15.38m) … placed sixth at the Texas Roadhouse Border Battle after a toss of 15.45m … finished seventh (15.27m) at the Purdue Dave Rankin Invitational … turned in a sixth place finish (15.31m) at the Gina Relays … concluded his season tying his personal best at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships with a throw of 15.66 meters … named to the Dean[apos]s List for the fall 2010 semester.
