AS A SOPHOMORE:Participated in 16 meets over the course of the indoor & outdoor seasons … assisted 4x100m relay team to a first-place finish (45.17) at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships, earning all-BIG EAST accolades … was a third-place finisher at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships in the 4x400m relay (3:37.79) … finished fifth in the 400m (54.18) … achieved a first-place finish at the Texas Roadhouse Border Battle in the 4x400m relay (3:40.56) and at the GVSU 2nd to Last Chance Meet in the 400m dash (55.08) … was a participant in the NCAA East Preliminary Round and the NCAA Championships … helped 4x400m relay team advance to the NCAAs with an eighth-place finish (3:35.85) at the NCAA East Preliminary Round … squad placed 18th at the NCAAs (3:37.97) … earned a monogram.

AS A FRESHMAN:Competed in 14 track & field meets during the season … scored points for the Irish at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships with a fourth place showing in the 400m (54.38) … helped the 4,000m Distance Medley team claim fourth at the BIG EAST Indoor Championships (11:37.80) … finished second in the 400m (54.69) at the outdoor Louisville Cardinal Twilight … won the 400m at the outdoor Purdue Dave Rankin Invitational (55.93) … also helped the 4x100m relay team claim third place (47.89) … finished fourth in the 200m (25.35) and second in the 400m (55.63) at the outdoor Texas Roadhouse Border Battle … had stellar meet at the Purdue Mike Poehlein Invitational, placing first in the 200m (25.21) and 400m (55.51) and second in the 4x400m relay (3:57.32) … finished second in the 200m (25.26) at the indoor Indiana University Relays … claimed third in the 400m (56.40) at the indoor Notre Dame Invitational … opened year with victories in the 400m (57.08) and the 4x400m relay (3:53.88) at the indoor Blue & Gold Invitational … earned a monogram.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: Competed during both the winter and spring season at Seneca (N.J.), lettering eight times … four-time All-American in the 400, including setting the state freshman and junior records in New Jersey … earned a total of five state championships (two in winter, three in spring) and garnered national ranking five times … earned all-state recognition five total times while being named all-city a total of seven times … team captain for both the winter and spring squads during her senior year … raced for the U.S. team at the World Youth Championships and the Caribbean Scholastic Invitational in the summer of 2009 … finished second in the 400 at the World Youth Championships held in Italy … born in Winfield, Ill. … daughter of Donna and Don Brown … has one sibling, LeAnne … enrolled in the Mendoza College of Business and majoring in entrepreneurial management.
