AS A SENIOR: Turned in a stellar season to cap her Irish career … kicked things off by setting a new Notre Dame shot put record at the Blue and Gold Invitational (16.03m), taking first place in the event and second in weight throw (16.88m) … snagged a fourth-place finish in shot put (14.87m) and finished sixth in the weight throw (16.51m) at the Simmons-Harvey Invitational … earned the top spot in shot put (16.00m) and finished in fourth in the weight throw (17.23m) at the Notre Dame Invitational … placed fourth in shot put at the Razorback Invitational (15.66m) … finished third in shot put at the Meyo Invitational (15.01m) … placed third in shot put at the Spire DI Invitational (14.76m) … snagged a first-place finish in shot (15.39m) and fourth in the weight throw (17.03m) at the Alex Wilson Invitational … competed in the ACC Indoor Championships where she placed third in shot put and was named to the All-ACC First Team (15.35m) … also finished 15th in the weight throw (16.63) … began the outdoor slate with a 10th-place finish in shot put at the Texas Relays (14.74m) … placed third in shot put at the Stanford Invitational (15.40m) … earned a third-place finish in shot put at the ACC/Big Ten Challenge (15.12m) … snagged a first place finish in shot put at the Georgia Tech Invitational (15.15m) … placed ninth in shot put at the Drake Relays (14.93m) … traveled to the Jesse Owens Track Classic and snagged runner-up position during the shot put championships (15.40m) … placed sixth in shot put at the ACC Outdoor Championships (15.39m) to earn an All-ACC Second Team honor … placed 12th in shot put during semifinals at the NCAA East Prelim Championships (15.83m) … ended her season placing 21st and snagging an Honorable Mention All-American certificate at the NCAA Outdoor Championships (15.26m) … named to both the All-ACC Academic Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field teams … selected to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track & Field Team … earned a monogram.

AS A JUNIOR:Competed in 16 meets during the indoor/outdoor track & field season … notched an eighth place finish in the shot put (15.52m) at the ACC Indoor Championships … recorded an indoor season best mark in the shot put (17.40m) at the Blue and Gold Invitational … competed exclusively in the shot put during the outdoor season … placed 22nd in the preliminaries (15.15m) at the NCAA Outdoor Championships … placed fourth at the ACC Outdoor Championships … earned a monogram.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Competed in 13 meets during the indoor & outdoor season … participated primarily in the shot put but also the discus and weight throw … competed in the NCAA East Preliminaries and achieved a career best in the shot put (15.24m) … placed third and earned all-BIG EAST accolades at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships with a throw of 15.21m … brought home two top-10 finishes at the Polytan Invitational with ninth place in the discus (36.52m) and fourth in the shot (14.89m) … started the outdoor season with back-to-back second place shot put finishes at the Victor Lopez Rice Bayou Classic (14.95m) and the Stanford Invitational (14.36m) … capped off indoor season with a second place finish at the Alex Wilson Invitational in the shot put (14.65m) … competed at the BIG EAST Indoor Championships in the shot put, finishing seventh (14.78m) … placed second in the shot put (14.29m) at the Notre Dame Invitational … finished second in the shot put at the GVSU Bob Eubanks Open (13.71m) … started the indoor season at the Blue & Gold Invitational, placing fifth in the weight throw (16.08m) and first in the shot put (14.17m) … named a BIG EAST Academic All-Star … USTFCCCA All-Academic team selection (track & field) … earned a monogram.

AS A FRESHMAN: Competed during both the indoor & outdoor seasons … placed second in the shot put with a throw of 13.75m at the Blue & Gold Invitational … toss of 13.21m earned fifth place at the Notre Dame Invitational … indoor-best 13.80m attempt to claim seventh place at the BIG EAST Indoor Track & field Championships and score two points for the Irish … career-best throw of 14.71m was the winning attempt in the shot put at the Stanford Invitational … logged a 13.78m throw to earn second place at the GINA Relays … finished first at the GVSU 2nd to Last Chance Meet with a throw of 14.45m … took seventh at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships in the shot put (14.60m) to score two points for Notre Dame … qualified for the NCAA East Preliminary Round in the shot put … was placed on the Dean’s List for the spring 2012 semester … earned a monogram.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: Was a member of three sectional championship teams in track & field at Bishop Ready High School … also earned three letters in soccer and one letter in basketball … contributor to the Silver Knights undefeated track & field season in 2011 … earned the 2011 state championship in the shot put as a senior … three-time all-state recipient, and four-time All-Central Catholic League selection … daughter of Erin and Tom Morris … has one brother, Casey … grandfather Joe Londergan, cousin Liam Gruzs (`05) and brother Casey (`14) also attended Notre Dame … mother Erin played tennis at Old Dominion … enrolled in the College of Arts & Letters and is majoring in sociology with a minor in peace studies.
