AS A GRADUATE STUDENT: Had spectacular indoor and outdoor track seasons that led to All-ACC and All-America performances … competed in 14 track meets … started the season with a third place finish in the 60m at the Notre Dame Invitational (7.56) … won the 60m hurdles at the Indiana University Relays (8.32) … placed fifth in the 60m hurdles at the Meyo Invitational (8.21) … finished fourth in the 60m hurdles (8.22) and seventh in the 60m dash (7.53) at the ACC Indoor Championships … placed sixth in the 60m hurdles at the NCAA Indoor Championships to earn first team All-America honors (8.07) … won the 100m hurdles (13.04) and 400m hurdles (57.53) at the Yellow Jacket Invitational … helped the 4x400m relay team to a first place finish (3:36.65) and finished second in the 400m hurdles (57.85) at the Sun Angel Classic … won the 100m hurdles (13.03) and placed fourth in the 200m (23.82) at the ACC/Big Ten Challenge … earned first team All-ACC recognition in the 400m hurdles (56.81) and 100m hurdles (12.92) at the ACC Outdoor Championships, as well as second team accolades in the 4x400m relay (3:31.86) and honorable mention in the 4x100m relay (44.43) … placed eighth in the 100m hurdles (12.99), seventh in the 400m hurdles (55.53) and third in the 4x400m relay (3:30.10) at the NCAA East Regional to advance to the NCAA Outdoor Championships … finished the season with an eighth place finish and first team All-America honors in the 400m hurdles (56.54) … named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.

AS A SENIOR: Sat out the entirety of the indoor season due to injury … kicked off her senior campaign at the Texas Relays, placing 19th in the 400m prelims (1:00.56) and eighth in the 4x100m relay (45.31) … finished seventh in the 400m hurdles (60.85), second in the 4x100m relay (45.54) and fourth in the 4×400 relay (3:43.87) at the Stanford Invitational … placed first in the 100m hurdles at the ACC/Big Ten Challenge (13.48) … took fourth in the 100 hurdles (13.90) and first in the 4x100m relay (44.81) during the Georgia Tech Invitational … finished 14th in the 400m hurdles (1:01.16) and first in the 4x200m relay (1:34.82) at the Drake Relays … claimed 10th in the 100m hurdles (14.16), first in the 400 hurdles (58.55) and second with the 4x100m relay (44.88) at the Jesse Owens Track Classic … placed seventh in the 400m hurdle prelims (59.22) and third in the 4×100 relay (45.05) at the ACC Outdoor Championship … named to the All-ACC second team with the 4×100 relay squad … placed 14th with the 4x100m relay group in the semifinal at the NCAA East Preliminary Championships (44.51).

AS A JUNIOR: Was a jack of all trades, competing in seven different events during the course of the indoor/outdoor track & field seasons … earned a fifth place finish in the finals of the 60m hurdles (8.40) at the ACC Indoor Championships while also placing 17th in the preliminaries of the 60m dash at the conference meet … had an impressive start to the indoor season, participating in three events at the Blue & Gold Invitational … placed second in the 60m dash (7.66), notched a first place finish in the 60m hurdles (8.42) and was a member of the “B” 4×400 relay team that finished third (3:57.05) … had a tremendous showing at the New Mexico Team Invitational, placing third in the 200m dash (24.25) and claiming second place in the finals of the 60m hurdles (8.54) … had an equally impressive performance at the ACC Outdoor Championships as a member of the Irish second place 4×100 relay team (45.07) … finished second in the finals of the 400m hurdles (58.42) and placed fifth in the preliminaries of the 100m hurdles (13.80) at the ACC Championships … concluded season with a 21st place finish in the semifinals of the 400m (1:00.84) at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. 



AS A SOPHOMORE: Competed in seven meets during sophomore season for the Irish … placed fifth as a member of the 4x100m relay team (45.99) at the Stanford Invitational … finished third in the 60m hurdles (8.48) at the BIG EAST Indoor Championships to earn all-BIG EAST honors … finished second in the 60m hurdles (8.37) and first in the 200m (24.45) at the Indiana University Relays … placed second in both the 60m hurdles (8.37) and the 60m dash (7.61), and also finished first in the long jump (6.12m) at the Notre Dame Invitational … claimed a third place finish in the 60m hurdles (8.52) and fourth place with the 4x400m relay team at the Bob Eubanks Open … three first place finishes at the Blue & Gold Invitational in the 60m hurdles (8.32), long jump (5.77m) and with the 4x400m relay team (3:45.95). 



AS A FRESHMAN: Turned in impressive freshman campaign, culminating in an appearance at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the 400m hurdles … finished 22nd in the 400m hurdles (1:00.27) … qualified for nationals after taking sixth in the 400m hurdles (57.90) at the NCAA East Preliminary Round … also ran in the 4x100m relay at the NCAA East Preliminary Round … turned in a brilliant BIG EAST Outdoor Championships, earning a relay title and three all-BIG EAST scrolls … finished third in the 400m hurdles (59.90), third in the 4x400m relay (3:37.79) and first in the 4x100m relay (45.17) … also took fourth in the 100m hurdles (13.62) … helped 4x400m relay team finish sixth at the Drake Relays (3:40.76) … had a strong Polytan Invitational, finishing first in the 400m hurdles (58.92), third in the 100m hurdles (14.17) and second in the 4×100 (46.18) and 4x400m relays (3:40.73) … had two runner-up finishes at the Texas Roadhouse Border Battle, taking second in the 100m hurdles (13.75) and the 4x100m relay (45.54) … had three top-three finishes at the Stanford Invitational, finishing second in the 400m hurdles (58.84), third in the 4×100 (45.78) and 4x400m relays (3:40.11) … won the 100m hurdles at the Mike Poehlein Invitational (13.82) … had three top-three finishes at the Victor Lopez Classic … took second in the 400m hurdles (59.04), second in the 4x400m relay (3:39.67) and third in the 4x100m relay (45.75) … also placed fifth in the long jump (5.80m) … took fourth in the long jump (5.77m) and fifth in the 60m hurdles (8.68) at the Alex Wilson Invitational … had three top-five performances at the BIG EAST Indoor Championships … took fourth in the long jump (5.87m) and 60m hurdles (8.50), and fifth in the 4x400m relay (3:41.98) … won the 60m hurdles at the Meyo Invitational (8.33) and finished third in the 4x400m relay (3:43.97) … finished second in the 60m hurdles (8.59) and 4x400m relay (3:45.78) at the Notre Dame Invitational … finished second in the long jump (5.53m) and 4x400m relay (3:51.50) at the GVSU Bob Eubanks Open … opened career with a bang, earning BIG EAST Female Track Athlete of the Week honors after winning the 400m dash (56.83), 60m hurdles (8.51), long jump (5.65m) and the 4x400m relay (3:51.49) at the season-opening Blue & Gold Invitational … wrapped up summer of 2012 by winning a bronze medal in the 400m hurdles at the IAAF World Junior Championships in Barcelona, Spain. 



PREP AND PERSONAL: Graduated from Midpark High School in the spring of 2011 … four-year letter winner in track & field, volleyball and basketball … competed in the sprint and hurdle events on the track, was a middle hitter in volleyball and a guard in basketball … earned conference and sectional championships all four years … earned all-conference honors as a junior and senior … became a regional and state champion during final two years and also earned national rankings … team captain and team MVP during final two seasons … top times include 40.88, the No. 9 all-time high school 300m hurdles time, 58.4, No. 5 400m hurdles time during the 2011 high school outdoor season and 19-8.25 ft. in the long jump … finished second at the 2011 New Balance Outdoor Nationals in the 400m hurdles … named 2010 Ohio Gatorade Female Track & field Athlete of the Year in Ohio … basketball team won conference and sectional championships in both junior and senior seasons … participated in National Honor Society … born to John Barber III and Annette Moore in Cleveland, Ohio … has an older brother John Barber IV, and a twin sister, Jade, who also was a track & field student-athlete at Notre Dame … brother, John, ran track & field in college … enrolled in the College of Science and is a science pre-professional with a minor in education, schooling and society.
