AS A SENIOR: Schneider appeared in 17 games this season, starting five … starts came against Illinois, Oakland, No. 16 Texas Tech, USC, and No. 16 Santa Clara … tallied two assists, one each against No. 2 Virginia Tech and Miami … played a total of 709 minutes for the season, while playing the full 90 minutes against Illinois and No. 16 Texas Tech … earned a monogram.

AS A JUNIOR: Appeared in 17 matches, starting four times, and collecting one assist during injury-riddled season … played both outside back and in midfield when situation called for it … started season opener against No. 25 Illinois (4-1), as well as ACC lidlifter at North Carolina State (3-1) and late-season contests at No. 3 Florida State (1-2) and No. 5 Virginia Tech (1-2), going distance in latter two matches (both went double overtime) … long-range service from right flank earned assist on Elizabeth Tucker’s tying goal in double-overtime thriller at No. 1 Virginia (2-3) … tied career high with two shots on goal against Northwestern (4-1) … had two shots in outings against Northwestern and Duke (1-2 in 2OT) … earned a monogram.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Played in all 24 matches, starting 15 times … one of six players to see action in every contest in 2012 … went the distance on two occasions on West Coast Conference foes #24 Santa Clara (2-1) and #19 Portland (1-1) … played primarily at outside back, although did shift into the midfield at times, particularly during second half of season … team went unbeaten in 13 of 15 matches she started, pitching six shutouts along the way … part of Irish defense that collected 10 shutouts during the season and allowed just four goals in six postseason matches (two in the run of play) … had shot on goal at Wisconsin (0-1) … logged two shots each at Tulsa (2-0) and Portland (1-1), the latter as part of her career-high 110-minute effort … tallied shot on goal against Pittsburgh (2-1) and another shot against Rutgers (2-2) … collected three shots, including career-high two on frame, at Villanova (1-0) … had most productive offensive day of career in double-overtime win at DePaul (1-0) with personal-best four shots before earning secondary assist on Lauren Bohaboy’s golden goal with 4:52 left in second extra period (Schneider’s cross played on by Crystal Thomas to Bohaboy who scored inside left post from near penalty spot) … registered shot in BIG EAST Championship quarterfinal win over Syracuse (1-0) … earned first career starting assignments in the NCAA Championship for round-one victory at home over Milwaukee (3-1) and second-round win at neutral site against #10 Wake Forest (2-1) … notched shot in NCAA third-round victory at #8 Florida (2-0) … posted shot on goal in NCAA quarterfinal at #7 Florida State (0-1) … earned a monogram.

AS A FRESHMAN: Battled through some early-season injuries to appear in 16 matches, starting five times, primarily at right back … credited with four shots (one on goal) … earned starting nod for first three matches of season … pair of tactical fouls against #21 Duke (1-3) resulted in yellow cards (red card suspension for ensuing match vs. Tulsa) … returned to action with start against Indiana (4-1) … came off bench at #2 Stanford (1-2), playing well at outside back for 39 minutes and registering first career shot on goal before injury sidelined her for rest of match, and next outing at #17 Santa Clara (1-1) … tried to return for three early conference matches, but played limited minutes against Louisville (0-1), South Florida (1-1) and #14 Marquette (2-3, ot) … missed another weekend series against Connecticut (3-0) and Providence (3-0) to allow injury to heal further … eased back into action with handful of minutes at Seton Hall (2-0) and Rutgers (0-0) … saw first extensive duty since injury with 61 minutes against Georgetown (2-3) … evolved into a reliable substitute during postseason, playing 46 minutes each in BIG EAST semifinal against Louisville (1-2) and NCAA first-round match at #16 Illinois (0-1) … twice came within inches of scoring tying goal in final 10 minutes against Louisville, putting home rebound of shot off right post, only to be called offside (82nd minute), and then ringing a shot off the crossbar in 86th minute … showed flashes of promises at offensive end during spring 2012 season, culminating with nine total shots (four on goal) against Haiti National Team (2-1) … earned a monogram.

NATIONAL TEAM HIGHLIGHTS: Part of U.S. Soccer youth national team player pools (most recently with U-20 squad’s extended roster from 2011-12) … earned invitation in July 2011 to U-20 National Team training camp at Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. … competed in U-18 National Team camp (jointly with U-20s) in May 2011, also at Home Depot Center … participated in U-15 National Team camps in 2008 (January and April), as well as U-17 National Team camp in June 2009.

ODP/CLUB HIGHLIGHTS: Attended the adidas Elite Soccer Program (ESP) in 2009, earning camp all-star honors … member of Region III ODP team from 2007-10, serving as team captain in that time … participated in ODP Thanksgiving Interregional from 2008-10, along with ODP foreign tours to Costa Rica (2008), Denmark/Sweden (2009) and Portugal (2010) … also played for North Texas ODP squad, helping team to national runner-up finish in 2009 and regional finalist berth in 2010 … another in a long line of Notre Dame players who also experienced club success with the Dallas Texans, the state’s No. 2-ranked club program (according to February 2011 Top Drawer Soccer ranking) and previously ranked first or second in nation for three consecutive years (2008-10), playing for head coach Ryan Higginbotham … member of Texans program from 2003-11 … helped team to two appearance in USYS Nationals, winning 2008 USYS Nationals and finishing third in 2009 … team also earned three Texas State Cup championships (2004, 2009, 2010) … Texans nabbed four grand championships in Lake Highlands Girls Classic League (2004-08) and won 2005 Disney Showcase … ranked 59th in the February 2011 Top Drawer Soccer club soccer player ratings (four-star ranking).
