AS A FRESHMAN: Soccer America All-Freshman First Team … Top Drawer Soccer Freshman Best XI First Team … NSCAA All-Southeast Region Third Team … ACC Freshman of the Year … All-ACC Second Team … ACC All-Freshman Team … started all 22 matches as rookie, one of eight ND freshmen since 1999 to start every match as a rookie (first since Mandy Laddish in 2010) — along with Kaela Little, first ND freshman duo to start every match of same rookie year since 1993 (Cindy Daws and Jen Renola) … led team in goals (7-tied), points (19), total shots (73) and match-winning goals (4), while placing second on team in shots on goal (27) and tied for third in assists (5) and minutes played (among field players – 1,915) … ranked ninth in ACC in total shots and sixth in shots per match (3.32); both figures also were tops among ACC freshmen … during conference play, led or shared team lead in assists (3-tied), total shots (37), shots on goal (15) and match-winning goals (2), while ending up tied for third in points (7) and fourth in goals (2) … tied for eighth in ACC in total shots during league matches (37) and tied for 11th in shots per match (2.85); both marks also shared top honors among ACC freshmen in those categories … opened college scoring account and went distance for first time in career during Notre Dame adidas Invitational opener against Oakland, scoring in 55th minute … registered first career multi-point match with five-point effort (2G-1A) on season highs of eight shots and three on goal against Detroit – netted opening goal 3:42 into contest, then added brace 2:01 into second half before assisting on Lauren Bohaboy’s goal in 59th minute … earned place on Top Drawer Soccer National Team of the Week for outing vs. Detroit … was hero of 1-0 win at #1 North Carolina, scoring day’s lone goal on powerful header in box (from Brittany Von Rueden cross) in 22nd minute … named ACC Player of the Week (the first-ever for a Notre Dame player in the program’s brief ACC membership) and made Top Drawer Soccer National Team of the Week for the second consecutive week after match-winning goal at UNC … although not officially credited with assist, had free kick that started match-winning goal sequence in closing seconds against Syracuse (free kick from left of box punched into air, headed on by Von Rueden to Sammy Scofield who scored with :03 left, the latest regulation winner in program history) … returned to scoring column against another top-ranked opponent, nabbing assists on first of Elizabeth Tucker’s two goals in 3-2 double-overtime loss at Virginia … nearly singlehandedly took down Boston College in 3-1 home win with four-point night (1G-2A), setting up Karin Simonian in 44th minute, scoring herself just 3:01 into second half, then setting up Laddish for key insurance goal in 85th minute … made postseason debut in ACC Championship quarterfinal at #5 Virginia Tech, earning secondary assist on Bohaboy’s goal in 28th minute of 2-1 double-overtime loss … sensational in first-ever NCAA Championship contest, scoring twice in first half of 4-1 home win over Iowa — slotted home penalty kick in 38th minute, then struck again with 1:07 left in opening period (notching the first two-goal match by an ND player in the NCAA Tournament since another freshman, Tucker, did so at Oklahoma State in 2010) … also tied season highs with eight shots and three shots on goal in that win over Iowa … delivered highlight reel assist during 2-0 win over Mexico Under-20 National Team in friendly during spring 2014 season – backheel flip over her head (and her defender’s) then cross that led to Bohaboy’s goal in 70th minute was nominated for spot on ESPN SportsCenter’s “Top 10 Plays”.

NATIONAL TEAM HIGHLIGHTS: Mainstay with several U.S. Soccer youth national teams since 2008, when she debuted with the U-14 Girls National Team … has risen through the U.S Soccer YNT ranks, participating in various international tournaments, friendlies and/or camps for the U-15, U-17, U-20 and U-23 national teams, serving as a captain for the U-15 squad in 2010 and the U-17 team in 2011-12 … earned combined 10 caps during 2013-14 Under-20 National Team cycle … most recently in January 2014, was member of USA squad that won CONCACAF U-20 Championship in Cayman Islands, appearing in all five matches and starting three times while dishing out assists in all three of the Americans’ group-stage wins (Costa Rica, Jamaica and Guatemala) … named to U.S. U-20 roster for 2013 Twelve Nations Tournament in La Manga, Spain, starting all three matches (draws with Norway and Sweden, loss to Germany) … started 19 times during 2012 U-17 cycle (including 15 caps), posting two goals and two assists (all during international play) … captain for U.S. squad at 2012 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Azerbaijan, with Americans finishing in three-way tie for first in group with five points but eliminated on goal differential (started twice, resting for group match vs. Gambia) … captain of victorious U.S. team at 2012 CONCACAF U-17 Championships in Guatemala, as Americans outscored five opponents, 26-0 (started every match, had goal and two assists in tournament) … captained U.S. U-17 side to 2012 Ten Nations Tournament crown in La Manga, Spain, despite playing against other national teams at U-19 level (started all three matches, scored goal vs. England) … one of five finalists for 2011 U.S. Soccer Young Female Athlete of the Year award — was only high school player among the five finalists, which also included Notre Dame two-time All-America forward (and U.S. U-23 National Team member) Melissa Henderson … took part in U-23 camp in October 2011 (was youngest player invited at age 16), when she was coached by (among others) then-U.S Women’s National Team coach (and current Swedish National Team manager) Pia Sundhage.

WPSL/ODP/CLUB HIGHLIGHTS: On roster for New England Mutiny in Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) past three summers (career totals of two goals, three assists while starting eight matches) … started 2013 WPSL season with Boston Aztec, but moved to New England roster prior to postseason … helped Mutiny win 2013 WPSL East Conference title and reach WPSL semifinals for third time in franchise history (scored winning goal in overtime of conference final against ASA Cheseapake Charge after assisting on tying goal in second-half stoppage time) … member of Region I ODP team in 2008 and 2009, participating in the ODP Thanksgiving Interregional Tournament in Florida both years … played club soccer for eight years with FC Stars of Massachusetts, leading various age-group teams to both the USYS National Championship Series and Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) National Championship semifinals twice … 2011 USYS National Championship “Best 11” selection for U-18 age group (was age 16 at time of tournament) … selected for 2011 ECNL International Tour Team that competed in England (team comprised of top 17 players in ECNL that year) … earned invitations to the 2010 and 2011 ECNL/id2 National Camps … invited to 2012 ECNL/id2 National Camp and chosen for 2012 ECNL International Tour Team, but had to decline due to conflict with U.S. Under-17 Women’s National Team participation (Eastern European tour) … 2010 ECNL Las Vegas and Winter Showcase All-Event Teams … ranked No. 1 in the 2013 Top Drawer Soccer Girls IMG Academy 150 player ratings (five-star ranking; No. 1 in Northeast Region) … ranked 1st in the 2013 ESPNHS 150.

PREP & PERSONAL: Graduated from Milford High School in Milford, N.H. … served as team captain and was everyday starter on varsity team since her freshman year … piled up 114 goals and 53 assists during her prep career, setting school and conference records for career goals … led MHS to its first state title (Division II) as senior in 2012, when she chalked up team highs of 31 goals and 18 assists (80 points) despite playing only 15 matches because of time missed due to U.S. National Team obligations … averaged staggering 5.33 points and 2.07 goals per match with five hat tricks as a senior … upon return from U.S. Soccer duty, led team to 14 consecutive victories and a 16-3-1 final record, culminating with 2-1 win over Souhegan High in the state final (she scored both goals to help secure the championship) … member of the National Technical Honor Society … honor roll student … daughter of Michele and Mark Andrews … brother, Michael, formerly participated in Teach For America and remains on faculty at the same inner-city school in Boston as teacher and track & field coach … brother, Matthew, is a U.S. Army Special Forces Green Beret who has served in Afghanistan … first New Hampshire native to play for the Fighting Irish … earned certificate of merit for participation in Notre Dame’s Rosenthal Leadership Academy in 2013-14.
