Brendan Roth 2022-23 Women's Soccer Staff
Operations Specialist
Brendan Roth joined the Notre Dame women’s soccer program as a volunteer assistant for the 2021-22 season. He became the director of operations for the 2022-23 season. Thus, he’ll begin his third year under Head Coach Nate Norman in 2023.
Roth spent the spring of 2020 as a volunteer assistant for the women’s soccer program at Valpo. Prior to that, Roth spent the previous three years on staff with Valpo men’s soccer as an assistant coach – his second stint on staff with the men’s program. He was promoted to the role of top assistant for the 2019 campaign.
Roth spent the 2016 season as the head men’s soccer coach at Calumet College of Saint Joseph. Before that, he was on staff for four years with Valpo men’s soccer in various roles – 2012 as a volunteer assistant, 2013 as an assistant coach and reserve team head coach, 2014 as director of soccer operations and 2015 as a volunteer assistant.
As a player in the program from 2007-2011, Roth was a near-permanent fixture on the field for head coach Mike Avery, appearing in 66 matches and starting 42 times. In 2011, he helped lead Valpo to its first Horizon League championship.
Roth graduated from Valparaiso University with a degree in sports management.
