National Team with Jamaica

  • Van Zanten made history with Team Jamaica at the 2023 Women’s World Cup, becoming the first Caribbean nation to advance to the Round of 16. Van Zanten even earned a start in the Round of 16 matchup against Colombia.
  • Van Zanten’s first call-up with the Jamaican National Team occurred in July 2022 during the Women’s CONCACAF Championship. A late sub in during the bronze medal game, Van Zanten scored the game-winner which secured Jamaica’s place in the Olympic playoff.

As a Graduate (2023)

  • Selected 21st overall by the Houston Dash in the 2024 NWSL Draft

  • Started all 23 games for the Irish as an attacking mid. Logged 1,518 minutes on the pitch.
  • She tied her career high for goals in a season with 7.
  • Set a new career best for assists in a season with 4.
  • Set a new career best for points in a season with 18.
  • Set a new career high for game-winners with 3.
  • One of her most pivotal goals of the season came in the 2nd half vs Pitt. The Irish tied the Panthers 1-1 and eventually advanced in the ACC Tournament after winning the PK shootout (in which Van Zanten was a part of as well).
  • Most dynamic goal came at Louisville, where she struck an absolute rocket from distance that found the upper-90.
  • On the Jamaican Team roster during the CONCACAF Championships. Scored the game-winner in extra time which earned Jamiaca the bronze medal and secured their place in the Olympic playoffs.

As a Junior (2021)

  • ACC All-Academic Team
  • Played in 20 games, logging over 514 minutes.
  • The only reason Kiki missed two games was that she was selected to train with Team Jamaica for 2023 Concacaf World Cup Qualifying
  • Finished with three goals and one assist to total seven points
  • Scored all three of her goals in a four-game span: Detroit Mercy (9/9), Syracuse (9/18) and at Miami (9/23)

As a Sophomore (2020)

  • Played in 12 games and made three starts during her second season with the Irish.
  • Finished the season with seven goals and 14 points in just 443 minutes played.
  • Led the team in goals and points while finishing seventh in the ACC in goals and fifth in the conference in goals per game (0.58).
  • Named to the Third Team All-ACC following the fall portion of the season and was named to the All-ACC Academic team following the spring season.
  • Opened the season with her first career hat trick in the 6-0 road win over Miami (9/20).
  • Scored the second goal in the 2-0 home win over Boston College (10/1).
  • Bagged her second career brace in the 2-0 home win over Syracuse (10/4).
  • Brought the Irish within one in the second half of the road game against No. 7 TCU (4/17).

As a Freshman (2019)

  • Played in 20 games and made two starts in her first season with the Irish.
  • Ranked third on the team in goals (4) and fourth on the team in points (8) over 805 minutes played.
  • Earned her first collegiate start in the 2-1 road win over Western Michigan.
  • Scored her first collegiate goal in the 87th minute on the road in the 1-0 win over Michigan.
  • Tallied her first career brace in the 4-0 home win over Pittsburgh.
  • Van Zanten was one of four Irish to record a brace in 2019 (Eva Hurm, Luisa Delgado & Autumn Smithers).
  • Scored the game’s only goal in the 1-0 home win over Saint Louis in the first round of the NCAA Championship.

  • Member of the U17 WNT and competed internationally in China, Mexico, Italy and Croatia.
  • Named an All-American by United Coaches Association.
  • 2018 Best XI U18/19 from US Soccer DA program.
