- Started the season off with 10 kills, four digs and a block against Seton Hall (Aug. 26)
- Also recorded 10 kills on 23 attempts (.304) along with a dig and three blocks versus Western Michigan (Aug. 27) to conclude the weekend with 20 kills, five digs and four blocks in six sets
- Closed the season against Syracuse (Nov. 25) with one kill on as many attempts for a 1.000 average, a season best

- Miles was drafted by the Indiana Pacers in 2012, while Mason was drafted by the Brooklyn Nets in 2013 and was on Team USA for the 2014 FIBA World Cup
- Father, Perky, played at Tennessee Tech
- Mother, Leslie, played at Purdue
- Grandfather, Albert Schultz, played basketball at Michigan Tech prior to joining the U.S. Air Force
- Uncle, William Schultz, played basketball at Wisconsin-Eau Claire prior to being called into military duty
- Uncle, Chad Schultz, played basketball at Wisconsin-Oshkosh
