- Played in 39 sets over 17 matches while earning four starts in her sophomore season
- Totaled 89 kills, 49 digs, 16 blocks and two aces over the course of the season
- Recorded 10-plus kills in five matches
- Logged a season-high 13 kills against Miami (9/29)
- Posted a double-double in the win over Southern Illinois (9/16) with 12 kills and 10 digs
AS A FRESHMAN (2016)
- Participated in 14 games for the Irish during her rookie campaign, starting in one
- Posted 26 kills, 35 digs, and six total blocks on the season
- Got her first taste of collegiate play against Howard (Sept. 3) in which she recorded 14 kills, three digs and two blocks in four sets
- Recorded five digs and four kills at Duke (Nov. 6)

- Graduated from Cathedral Catholic High School (San Diego) in June 2016
- Earned four letters in volleyball
- Named an Under Armour Honorable Mention All-American, a Prep Volleyball Senior Ace and a team captain before senior year began
- Also tabbed a Union Tribune San Diego Player To Watch before season began
- Helped team win San Diego League championship with state playoffs still ongoing
- Earned all-league honors after leading the league in kills, blocks and digs as a junior in addition to all-academic accolades
- Was a Union Tribune San Diego Player To Watch before the year began
- Earned all-league honors for the first time as a sophomore after pacing the league in hitting percentage, kills, blocks, digs and service aces
- Helped lead team to a regional championship as a freshman before squad claimed the CIF California state championship

- Lauren Lynne Woodard was born in Seattle, Washington to Stephen and Janelle Woodard
- Has an older brother, Brandon, and a younger brother, Garrett
- Uncle, Kevin Finigan, played baseball at Claremont McKenna College before being drafted by the Montreal Expos in the 22nd round of the 1986 Major League Baseball Draft
