Ellen Koselka joined the Notre Dame women's rowing team coaching staff in the fall of 2026 after completing her collegiate rowing career at Washington (2024-26) and Michigan (2021-22). During her time with the Washington women's rowing program Koselka also served as a rowing coach at the Pocock Rowing Club in Seattle, Washington and holds a U.S. Rowing Level II certification.
A standout on the water and in the classroom, Koselka was named to the 2026 Spring Big Ten All-Academic team while earning a Master of Education in Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership from the University of Washington after graduating with honors in 2025 with a major in history and minor in political science.
A Notre Dame legacy, Koselka's father, John (1985-88) and mother, Suzanne (DeVine) (1984-87) were both swimmers at the University of Notre Dame. Koselka's older sister, Elizabeth, was an All-American swimmer at Michigan.
