Riley’s connection to Notre Dame runs deep. As a 2016 graduate of Notre Dame Law School, he witnessed the transformative impact of philanthropic support firsthand as the recipient of the Mackey Family Fellowship. Upon graduation, he began his career in Notre Dame Development in 2016 as a Major Gifts Officer, later advancing to Director of Development in 2018, where he was individually responsible for raising over $40 million, cultivating relationships with benefactors in key regions like Phoenix, Denver, and San Francisco. Riley’s experience extends beyond fundraising, including roles with Notre Dame Football, the Minnesota Vikings, and the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill Athletics. His commitment to fostering a holistic student-athlete experience is rooted in his own journey as a three-year football team captain and 2013 graduate of Macalester College.
