NOTRE DAME, Ind. — The Notre Dame men’s lacrosse program had three players from the 2020 squad selected by Inside Lacrosse as All-Americans following the shortened season. Bryan Costabile received second team honors, Jack Kielty was bestowed third team status and Arden Cohen was named an honorable mention.
All three players also appeared on the Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-America lists.
Costabile was tied for the team lead in goals through five games with 10, while also adding five assists. The senior ranks second on the Notre Dame career goal scorer chart for a midfielder with 99. Costabile is an Inside Lacrosse three-time All-American.
Kielty was the leader of the Irish defense in 2020 after starting each of the last three years. The defenseman caused five turnovers and scooped up 12 ground balls over five games. Over four years Kielty has played in 50 games and has scooped up 104 ground balls.
Cohen was another integral part of the Notre Dame defense. The junior racked up 13 ground balls and caused six turnovers over five contests. Cohen has been a starting defenseman for the Irish in each of his three seasons at Notre Dame.
