SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Junior Kate Timarky, sophomore Madison Rassas, and Freshman Maura Irish were named to the IL Women Midseason All-American list on Wednesday afternoon. The trio is no stranger to accolades this season as all three are also on the Tewaaraton Watch List.
Timarky leads the Irish with 40 goals and 51 points so far this season. Timarky is second in the ACC with in goals (40), second in goals per game (3.33), fourth in points (51), and fourth in points per game (4.25). She has also recorded 17 ground balls so far this season and has had scored a hat trick or more in nine games.
Rassas has received several honors already this season, including being named to the 2026 Preseason All-ACC Team and has also received USA Lacrosse Preseason All-American honors.
She second on the team with 39 goals and 46 points, while also recording 16 ground balls, 7 caused turnovers, and 4 draw controls. Rassas is third in the ACC in goals (39), third in goals per game (3.25), sixth in points per game (3.83), and ninth in points (46).
Irish has scored 13 goals and dished out a 13 assists for a total of 26 points so far in her rookie season. She has also recorded 17 draw controls, 19 ground balls, and leads the team with 18 caused turnovers. She is also ninth in the ACC in caused turnovers (19) and caused turnovers per game (1.58).
Irish earned her first ACC weekly honor of her career as she was named ACC Co-Offensive Player of the Week after helping guide Notre Dame to wins over No. 3 Boston College and No. 25 Harvard.
