Notre Dame's second home game of the year will now be against Ball State on Tuesday at 4 p.m. (ET)

Tuesday Game Against Ball State Added To Softball Schedule

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – To offset recent weather-related postponements and cancellations, the University of Notre Dame softball team has added one game to its schedule and will face Ball State this Tuesday (April 1) at Melissa Cook Stadium. The Irish and Cardinals are set to take the field for a 4 p.m. (ET) first pitch, with Gametracker live stats coverage available at UND.com/softball.

Tuesday’s game will mark the first time the teams have faced one another since a 5-1 Notre Dame win on March 24, 2009, and the just the second game in series history at Melissa Cook Stadium.

Wednesday’s non-conference matchup against Michigan State, slated for 6 p.m., remains scheduled to be played at that start time.
